THE SANCTUARY 2015
The Holistic Heart of Wilderness Festival
Cornbury Park Aug 6 – 9th 2015 Oxfordshire
Wilderness festival is billed as one of the world’s top festivals. A decadent and beautiful melting pot where wellbeing, gastronomy, intellectualism and music collide.
Deep in the heart of the festival is The Sanctuary. A ‘festival within a festival’ nestled next to the lakeside spa; a dazzling array of health and wellbeing, curated and produced by Claire Hamilton and Colette Crespin of Events company Wild Wellbeing.
This is THE Go-To festival destination where you can kick back and relax with an A-Z of therapies (pre-bookable online) all provided by highly qualified therapists as well as top complementary health consultants. Working in partnership with Neals Yard Remedies, Yoga Matters, Teeki Yoga, Eco Towels and Pukka tea this year, there is plenty to keep you interested this summer.
Within the pretty tented village you’ll find a 44ft Yoga Yurt, and a Meditation Pod, along with fascinating workshops and classes hosted by some of UK’s top experts and authors. Making a premier appearance this year are; ‘Boys of Yoga’ and ‘Hot Pod Yoga’ both set to turn up your temperatures with some exhilarating and energising Yoga.
Don’t miss the fabulous Sanctuary Workshops this year. Organised by Mind, Body Spirit, speakers include Suzanne Duckett Editor of Tatler Spa Magazine and Eminé Ali Rushton, author and Beauty Director of Psychologies Magazine.
To get you glowing inside and out, you can enjoy a Pure Pamper Zone for full beauty MOTs; with solar showers, a wood-burner sauna, spray tans and glitter showers, hair styling stations and a nail bar.
For those wishing to zone-out with some amazing meditation at the festival we’re delighted to announce that Andy Bodicombe’s Headspace are returning again. Co-founder and MD of Wild Wellbeing, Colette Crespin says;
‘We are just thrilled to be working with some of the UK’s most well respected partners to help create this amazing space, this year we are set to exhilarate, rejuvenate and excite anyone with an investment in the cultivation of their own health and wellbeing across the festival.”
Whether it’s dynamic yoga you need, or a restorative signature massage or facial (that can be pre-booked in a pair for friends or couples), or perhaps a calming 7am sunrise meditation followed by an acupuncture session, to practice the art of zero balancing, or simply a chance to soak up the calm of the healing Garden, the Sanctuary welcomes all those needing a little escape.
After the success of last years table-serviced restaurant under the big oak tree in the heart of The Sanctuary, The Hidden Door team are back in the reformed shape of The Dandylion. Not to forget the ever popular organic Coffee Camper and new for this year, a refreshing fresh cold-pressed juice bar; Crude Juice. This year Wild Wellbeing will be donating all profits from meditation to the charity Mind.
