A night of Soul at 100 Wardour Street: Fabulous, fun and fancy

The elegant Soho restaurant was joined by soul singer and winner of The Voice, Jermain Jackman. Prosecco was popping, crowds were dancing and the room was filled with the serenading sound of Jermain Jackman’s powerful voice.

As soon as Jermain appeared on stage, with the live band, he had the audience intrigued bringing joy to the room. The purple lit stage glowed as he began with some of his classic original music, influencing people to sway a long whilst eating dinner and sipping on wine. It quickly turned up beat singing classic hits from well know soul artists including McFadden and Whiteheads smash hit, Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now which was the first tune to get the audience up and dancing along. He also paid tribute to the late Aretha Franklin with a beautiful version of, I Say A Little Prayer. After a quick break Jermain hit back with Valerie by the legendary Amy Winehouse. By this point the crowd were really lively and loving the music encouraging Jermain to wonder through the restaurant in and out of the audience joining them for a boogie. Everyone was involved, having fun and singing along. A fantastic night full of amazing entertainment in the most sophisticated setting.
