There was something instantly nostalgic about the stay – a feeling that took me back to the carefree excitement of childhood sleepovers, only this time with all the elegance and ease of a luxury retreat. Matching pyjamas laid out on the bed, a tray of retro sweets ready for a movie marathon, and a cocktail chilled and waiting – thoughtful touches that felt effortless.
The ambience in the Park Deluxe Suite was tranquil, yet undeniably opulent. Slipping into the silk sleepwear, basking in the breathtaking sunset of the city, about to indulge in room service and chick flick movies. It was a magical spring evening where time slows down, where pizza and steak sandwiches taste even better in fluffy robes, and a simple moment shared over sweets and a film becomes unexpectedly special with your friend, sister, mum or loved one.
Stepping into the Park Deluxe Suite felt like entering a private observatory above the city – I had to stop in awe to take it all in. From the 10th floor, London unfolded in every direction: the London Eye glinting in the distance, the Shard slicing through the skyline, and the endless green of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens stretching far just like a breathtaking painting.

Followed by jars of retro sweets including bubblegum, blackjacks, and classic chews that cured the sweet tooth. The suite’s large TV screen turned the living area into a private cinema, and it wasn’t long before we were snuggled up in our luxury Their Nibs pyjamas, cocktails in hand and sweets at the ready.
Before sinking into the cloud-like comfort of the king-sized bed, I ran a hot bubble bath – made all the more indulgent thanks to the Temple Spa kit included in the Sleepover in the City experience. With the lights dimmed low and a cocktail in hand, I sank into the tub and let the day melt away. From the marble-framed window, the glittering lights of London twinkled across the skyline – the kind of view that makes you fall in love with the city all over again. The scent of essential oils, the gentle hum of the city below, and the sheer luxury of having nowhere to be, made it one of the most serene moments of the stay.
And in the morning? A beautiful breakfast banquet in the Park Restaurant with incredible views of Kensington Gardens, allowing you to enjoy delicious food while watching the city go by.
