One of the largest and most diverse zoos in the world, the San Diego Zoo is home to over 3,700 animals across 800 species. Families can explore habitats ranging from rainforests to deserts, and even take a guided bus tour to see the animals up close.
The zoo also offers a range of different special experiences such as the ‘Early Morning Cheetah Experience’, ideal for children of ages 5 and above to learn about the care and conservation of the zoo’s wildlife from one of the zoo’s wildlife behaviour experts. The experience consists of a 90-minute car tour around areas not open to the public allowing visitors to view the cheetahs up close as they run and play.
