Amsterdam Open Air, Netherlands

Amsterdam Open Air, Gaasperpark, Amsterdam, Netherlands. June 7th-8th.

Amsterdam Open Air returns for its third year and this festival, as you can imagine from this place, is a gift of immense musical, culinary and cultural offerings including the option to stay the night and dance at the campsite… which you obviously won’t be saying no to!

Amsterdam Open Air returns to the former floral garden. The Gaasperpark surroundings with its magnificent landscape make for an amazingly magical ride. And to top it off the end station of metro 53 being situated next to the festival grounds makes it easily accessible if you’re staying in a hotel or B&B.

The city itself is incredibly easy to navigate. There are maps everywhere and because of its horseshoe kind of shape it’s very simple to look at.

Amsterdam Open Air does offer the option to stay overnight at the Gaasper Camping campsite. Camping in Amsterdam! After last years success with the camping idea they’ve now extended it to include not only Friday and Saturday night, but also Sunday night which they promise will be a musical festivity. The big hit of last year, the silent disco, will of course be back and the Music Lounge will be even more extensive.

A silent disco… at a campsite… in Amsterdam. SOLD!

In short, Amsterdam Open Air The Weekender is one large melting pot of ideas and visions that are characteristic of the current Amsterdam night life. If you’ve never been to Amsterdam, make a week of it before or after the festival. If you have been before, this will excite you as much as it does us!

More about the music and stages below.
