Merging impressive technological innovations with a modern, luxury aesthetic, BMW unveils it’s Vision Future Luxury concept car. The core elements to this next generation luxury saloon include the inclusion of lightweight, carbon based materials across the board, rear-seat detachable tablet computers and a wrap around display of three voice voice activated monitors, each of which is dedicated to a specific element of the driving experience, including a HUD displaying speed limits, road signs and traffic light assistants.
Passengers can also enjoy the benefits of the interactive displays, where they can exchange information with the driver and even buy event tickets or do online shopping via the ConnectedDrive Luxury Concierge service. As Karim Habib, BMW’s Head of Design states;
“These innovations deliver a new, multifaceted luxury experience that spans intelligent lightweight engineering, innovative interior design and a radically new user interface design.”
Fronted by BMW’s signature twin grill, the exterior sports an extended wheelbase, advanced aerodynamics and chrome trimmings all around. BMW have also incorporated new headlight technology – known as LaserLight – that provides 10 times the output of comparable LED systems whilst keeping energy consumption down.
