Bubbles and Brunch : Oracle Leeds

At House of Coco brunch is bae to us and we are loving that we don’t have to travel all the way to Dubai to get to do it in style. One of Leeds’ hottest bars is about to take things up a notch with their new brunch offering…

As Mother Nature teases the first glimpses of spring, one of the Leeds most prestigious bars is gearing up to celebrate its eleventh year in business with a subtle makeover that will provide the perfect backdrop to those long summer days and blistering nights.

Oracle Bar and Nightclub has enjoyed success as the city’s premier waterfront venue for over a decade now, and the key to its staying-power can be put down to its chameleon-like ability to move with the times.


The Kitchen

In its latest incarnation, the stark, white, minimalistic interior will be complemented with reclaimed wood, giving the space a warmer, more rustic vibe. The ground floor will be rebranded as The Kitchen, which will play host to a number of guest street food vendors throughout spring and summer with cutting-edge cuisine befitting of each season.

Fat Annie’s Hot Dogs will kick things off on the 24th March with her delicious artisan creations (including the vegan friendly Green Dog), and will closely be followed by Man Meets Fire and Jenny’s jerk Chicken.

Having pioneered the gourmet burger in the city way back in 2005, Oracle are excited about the prospect of allowing their customers to experience new tastes once again. Owner Deborah De Vittoris explained:

“Customers enjoy seeking out great food – social media has turned what’s on a plate (or piece of wood/slate/basket/card board box!) into something that they want to tell their friends they are experiencing live whilst they eat it.  

In this new fast moving environment one menu that has seasonal changes is not enough, that’s why we’re bringing our hand-picked selection of street food operators to The Kitchen at Oracle and allowing our customers to try different dishes inspired from around the world.’’

Bubbles and Brunch

During the summer months, The Kitchen will play temporary home to the likes of Twisted Fish, The Mexican Guy, The Hog and Bottle, Burnt Onion and Humpit to name but a few, with more off-the-wall food you won’t find elsewhere in the city.

Those on a strictly liquid diet will not be disappointed either. Easter Bank Holiday weekend sees the launch of Bubbles and Brunch, which runs throughout summer from midday-2pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Priced at a mere £20 and includes a Bellini reception, any main meal from The Kitchen street food menu and a bottomless Prosecco, all of which can be enjoyed on the legendary Oracle Terrace – one of Leeds biggest and best waterside suntraps!

From 2pm onwards, DJ’s will be on hand to play uplifting, Balearic house music to get revellers in the summer mood, making the terrace the perfect pre-party to the one and only CandyPants every Saturday night.  Ray Chan, founder of CandyPants and co-owner of Oracle, launched the club night in Leeds 8 years ago and has since achieved international success in Marbella and is now sighted as favourite brunch destination in Dubai.
