Cara Delevingne Takes To Her Latest Stage

The most Googled fashion figure of 2013 and still firm favourite with our top Fashion houses.

This week we watched the model walk for the likes of Burberry and Stella McCartney and unforgettably the aisles of the ‘Chanel Super Market’ hand in hand with Karl Lagerfeld for Paris AW14/15 Fashion week. The next stage she’s set her sights on? …Television.

Cara was quoted last year saying ‘Acting has always been my dream, even more so than modelling.’ Adding to her already impressive CV, Storm Model Management are said to have confirmed that Cara is set to make her television-acting debut for a one-off drama for Sky Arts Playhouse Presents series.
Cara staring as Princess Sorokia in 2012 film adaptation of Anna Karenia.

Cara portrays the character of a young woman whose fiancé is serving in Afghanistan, working alongside fellow Brit Sylvia Syms who plays her grandmother.

Cara told Vogue: “It’s a really touching story and I’m really honoured to be working with Sylvia in a one-off production for Playhouse Presents, this will be my first time working in television drama and I am excited by the opportunity.”

The show, entitled Timeless, will be broadcast on June 19 and will air on Sky Arts, as a part of a series of dramas for Playhouse. The Model turned actress is in talented company with names such as Matthew Perry, Billie Piper and Jo Brand all confirmed to the series.
