Las Vegas is a city like no other. All year round tourists flock there to experience its unique atmosphere that quite honestly you have to see to believe. Vegas is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, but for some it’s not enough to holiday in The Entertainment Capital of the World, they want to live there. Croupier

If Vegas is famous for one thing, it’s casinos. So what better way to make a living than working right at the heat of the action as a croupier? Croupiers deal the cards, spin the roulette wheel, roll the dice, and just generally ensure the casino games run smoothly. As well as strong mental arithmetic and observation skills, croupiers are also required to be extremely personable, as they will be interacting with customers all the time.

Street Performer

Casinos aren’t the only form of entertainment in Las Vegas, far from it. The Strip is packed full of street performers, ranging from musicians to magicians. With some street performers reported to earn well in excess of $100,000, there’s a surprising amount of money to be made in the career. It’s not just the money that’s appealing though, the career offers an opportunity to soak up the unique atmosphere of Vegas and meet a whole range of people.

Las Vegas welcomes tens-of-millions of tourists each year so unsurprisingly the city’s restaurant scene is excellent. If you’re willing to work hard enough then the sky really is your limit as a chef in Las Vegas, the city being home to many Michelin star restaurants. Very few cities in the world offer chefs the opportunity that Las Vegas does.

You don’t have to work front of house to get in on the casino action of Vegas, there are plenty of jobs behind the scenes too. Software Engineer is one of the hottest careers in the city, not only for the average salary of $90,000, but also for the overall enjoyment of the position too.
