Pssst…I’m going to let you in on a secret. There’s a cool, new brand emerging on the jewellery scene that is about to blow up. D. Louise is a stylish collection of affordable, high-quality jewellery that you will own for ever. Gold jewellery is bang on trend right now, I’m a big fan of layering mine on a night out but find that after a couple of wears they take on a green tinge and can’t be worn again. D. Louise is a range of uniquely designed pieces that can be worn every day, in the shower or at the gym without tarnishing or turning green.

I’ve been crushing on this jewellery collection for some time and after chatting to founder Olivia Jenkins I think I may be crushing on her too. Olivia, aged 25 from London, set up the brand during the global pandemic after she became increasingly frustrated with her every day jewellery turning her skin green. After researching materials and road testing them herself, she started sourcing suppliers while juggling her full-time job in a media agency. D. Louise quickly took off and she quit her job in the city to throw herself into the business full-time. She said, “Like most people, the pandemic changed my job, I went from a very social role to being stuck at home. I felt like I had no purpose so when I spotted a gap in the jewellery market, I decided to just go for it”.

The range, which she has a hand in designing includes elegant rings, funky earrings, and bracelets as well as chic necklaces. It is made with a high-quality stainless steel, which is durable, 100% recyclable and affordable. It goes through a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating process to add the gold plate. This method is ten times thicker than standard gold plating, making the finish on the jewellery resistant to corrosion and tarnishing, which means you can wear the pieces on the beach or in the pool and they’ll still look fabulous.

D. Louise is about wearing stylish jewellery every day that won’t break the bank, with prices ranging from £28 – £50. Olivia tells me that zodiac necklaces are going to be big this summer. Her biggest sellers are her bracelets, and I can see why, I love the Rolo Chain bracelet and the Chunky Monkey would make amazing arm candy at any pool party this summer.

Olivia named the brand after her Mum, Deborah Louise, who she sadly lost to cancer in 2017. She said, “I feel like a piece of my mum is in the business. It reminds me anything is possible and while life can be tough at times, you can create your own future”.

D. Louise is passionate about promoting sustainable fashion and offers a lifetime warranty on all pieces and any items which have manufacturing defects are recycled into new products. Olivia has ensured that not only is this ingrained into the product itself but is central to the brand. All packaging is FSC® certified, recyclable, and plastic free. The brand partners with ‘Get Mads’ who offset their carbon, remove plastic from the oceans and plant a tree with every order. D. Louise also donates a portion of profits to support the Oceanic Society, a non-profit organisation that works to improve ocean health.

Olivia’s vision is to be the world’s most well know stainless steel jewellery brand. I don’t think she’ll have to wait long, D. Louise ticks all the boxes from being affordable, high-quality, sustainable and super stylish.

If there is one true thing in life, first impressions count. Obviously, it shouldn’t, but they do, and as with all humans, it is your first impression that sticks with you. This is true for clothing, attitude, character, and of course, your car. What car you drive can tell others about who you are as a person and how you live your life. Therefore, it is essential to choose something that perfectly reflects your character. This will be different for every person, but if you are an entrepreneur and business person, you will need a vehicle that portrays an air of exclusivity. If this sounds like you, but you don’t know what to look for in a car of such caliber, then this post might just be the post for you!

How Can A Car Give An Impression Of Exclusivity?

Before going into specific features and brands that can mark you as someone who prefers the finer things in life, it is worth understanding what exclusivity means. Exclusivity is a term that is not always easy to define. However, it is usually a term that often comes up in the world of luxury and fashion. It is used to describe the idea of having something that is limited to a certain number of people. Exclusivity can be seen as a way for brands to stand out from their competitors, and the automobile industry is no exception.

It can also extend to ancillary factors that surround the car itself and make the entire experience even more luxurious. For example, if you purchase a luxury car brand and break down somewhere off the beaten track, many will provide a service to come out and repair it wherever you may be. Additionally, it can be the experience of going to the showroom and selecting the car of your dreams. The experts at Holman Motorcars suggest that to achieve complete exclusivity, your experience needs to be curated from start to finish, beginning with the initial visit to a showroom and continuing through the purchase and collection process.

What Should You Look For In A Car That Reflects Your Lifestyle?

When you think about a luxury car, the first thing that comes to your mind is likely something sleek and luxurious. A car is a status symbol and a luxury item. People desire to have vehicles that are luxurious, unique, and exclusive. The idea of exclusivity is closely linked with the exclusivity of ownership, but the question remains, how can a car give an impression of exclusivity?

Brand

The world is full of car brands that range from cheap and cheerful to those with so much horsepower that you need to learn how to be a jockey before getting behind the wheel! Nevertheless, some brands embody luxury and can be further broken down into several categories. For example, your standard brands might include:

  • Mercedes
  • BMW
  • Lexus
  • Land Rover
  • Audi
  • Tesla
  • Jaguar

Owning any of those brands will immediately put you into the realm of the well-off. However, if you want to really push the boat out, there are some brands that exemplify exclusivity and high-end automobilia:

  • Ferrari
  • Lamborghini
  • Bently
  • Aston Martin
  • Maserati
  • Bugatti
  • Rolls-Royce
  • Jaguar
  • Tesla
  • Porsche

As you can see, some cars can straddle different levels due to their pedigree or high-tech credentials (which is all the rage these days).

The Exterior Design

Your car’s exterior will be the first thing people see and will be the first thing they remember. The style of car you choose will dictate how people see you and how you want others to see you. However, this is also where things become a little murkier in terms of categorization. For example, you could look at a modern Jaguar and think that someone who drives these vehicles is a businessperson or some kind of senior manager. However, if they drive a vintage Jaguar E-Type, you might consider them to be something else entirely. The same can be said of almost all models (except tesla, which is too recent), as a vintage version will say something different (but no less impressive) about you.

The Features Of The Car

The features that your car processes will further cement the impression you make on others, albeit in a less obvious way. To take the example of the beautiful E-Type from earlier, you could opt for an original that looks fantastic and tells others that you value elegance. But if you choose to keep the look of the car, but upgrade features like brakes, suspension, and possible engine, you may be perceived as someone who aims to achieve perfection in both form and factor.

As you can see, it is not so straightforward to state what to look for in a luxury vehicle, as everyone’s version of luxury varies. Furthermore, brands can become more or less exclusive depending on age and if they have been upgraded. Nonetheless, one thing never changes: luxury begins and ends with the overall experience. If you want to leave an impression of prestige, you should expect nothing less than perfection in every aspect.

Wagyu is the legendary super-marbled, super-pricey beef from Japan normally served in high end restaurants. Gunma Wagyu, one of the world’s most expensive cuts of beef, is now available to consumers in the UK bringing the restaurant experience to your kitchen. While foodies might expect to find such high-quality cuts in a Michelin star restaurant, Gunma Wagyu Beef offers a deliciously premium eating experience delivered direct to your door.

This indulgent dine at home experience is perfect for fans of STK or those looking to create their own Salt Bae vibe. There’s a lot of hype around this bougie piece of beef and once you’ve tried it you will understand why.

The delicious cut of meat arrives frozen in vacuum sealed packaging to ensure optimum quality. I treated my other half to some for a date night dinner, and it went down a storm. It was so easy to cook, so no wasting time slaving over the stove. It only needs a light seasoning of sea salt then you simply fry it 10-30 seconds on each side in a hot cast iron pan, greased with butter and serve. I paired mine with a glass of Malbec and a side of greens. The meat was juicy and melt in the mouth tender. The cut is highly marbled which gives the meat a unique buttery flavour. The marbling is rich in omega-3 and omega-6, improving the ratio of monounsaturated fats compared with regular beef so its healthier.

The reason Wagyu is expensive and let’s be honest, so tasty is down to the care and standards the cattle are raised in. Gunma Wagyu Beef is reared authentically in Japan by experts who mature Japanese Black cows in stress free environments for approximately 30 months to ensure good quality, high grade piece Wagyu. The cattle are raised in Gunma, a location in Japan with an abundant water resource from the Tonè River and are surrounded by green mountains which contributes to their zen lifestyle, as well as flavoursome meat.

Gunma Wagyu Beef Yakiniku cut (200g) is available to purchase on Asian Harvest, from £65. You can get next day delivery for orders placed on Monday to Thursday.

Collagen is having a moment right now, I can’t scroll through my social feed without seeing a fresh faced celebrity claiming this elixir is responsible for their glowing youthful skin. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I spoke to Peji Kanani, founder of Swissvitae supplements.

Collagen makes up 30% of protein in our bodies and is an important building block for your skin, hair and nails. Collagen is a protein that contains key amino acids giving the skin its plump appearance, elasticity and strength. From around the age of 30 the body’s collagen production begins to decrease, this can also be accelerated by too much sun, processed foods, alcohol and smoking. When our levels start to drop we get visible signs of ageing like thinning hair and wrinkles.

While collagen is mainly coveted for its beauty properties it does more than just support healthier and better-looking skin. Collagen is an essential factor in muscle health and recovery, gut health, hair and nail strength, bone and joint health, and hormone health. You can support your collagen levels with a supplement but with so many on the market from liquids, to capsules and powders how can you be sure you are using the most effective product? Kanani recommends marine collagen. He says, “marine collagen is Type 1 collagen – the most abundant kind and is a rich source of amino acids, including proline and glycine”. Marine collagen comes from a variety of sea life, including jellyfish and fish. Once the fish’s flesh has been removed for food, everything that is left is cleaned. At this point, the collagen is extracted. It then goes through a process called hydrolysis. This breaks down the collagen into collagen peptides, which are small units of protein. Marine collagen contains a higher collagen content than other sources. It is also considered an eco-friendlier option because it prevents fish visceral from being wasted.

It is possible to keep our collagen levels high by eating a diet rich in protein and vitamins, however, it can be difficult for the body to absorb this so-called native collagen. To help with the absorption of collagen in the body, Swissvitae UK’s supplements take a liquid form. Kanani says “Liquid supplements have the advantage of their form. The liquid is already ready to be absorbed, meaning that your digestive tract can start absorbing the nutrients as soon as it starts its descent into the stomach. Research shows that up to 90% of nutrients are absorbed within approximately 30 seconds, and the entire absorption process takes up to 4 minutes. That’s a leading factor as to why liquid supplements are known to have an absorption rate of 98%. With the added value of having smaller, easier to breakdown molecules, it makes the efficacy of the absorption better, too. Powder form typically has an absorption rate of less than 30%”.

With most things don’t expect changes overnight. To see and feel the benefits you need to be taking the supplement regularly for at least three months. Swissvitae’s collagen shot contains marine collagen as well as hyaluronic acid and four different vitamins and minerals for better skin health so you’re getting more bang for your buck.

You can order your collagen shots from Swissvitae

Birthdays are the perfect excuse to let your friend, partner or family member know how much you love and appreciate them.

There are some things most of us do when a loved one’s birthday comes around: send a text, buy a present, attend a party. These are all great ways to celebrate someone, but isn’t there something a little bit special you can do? Even something small, but which will bring a little extra joy to their day?

Here are just a few thoughtful ways to make a birthday truly unforgettable.

The cake

Everyone loves a birthday cake: an excuse to indulge your sweet tooth and sing your heart out in celebration of that special person. But if baking is not your forte, you’re going to have to rely on your local supermarket to provide the goods.

Unless that is, you order them a freshly baked cake online. Desserts Delivered Bakery delivers gorgeous cakes within 24 hours of ordering. Make your friend’s inner child happy with a Kinder Surprise cake, or get a decadent chocolate truffle cake to make your mum’s day. The smile it’ll bring to their face will be one you’ll always remember.

Make a playlist

Making a playlist of their favourite tunes is a low-cost but thoughtful way to show someone you care about them.

Make the playlist a celebration of their life, from their first record and concert, through the embarrassing angsty teen anthems, to their favourite bands and guilty pleasures. You’ll all have a laugh remembering the good times and cringing at your past selves.

Take them out

Clothes, books, jewellery and tech are all brilliant gifts, but it’s experiences that are truly unforgettable.

Take them out to their favourite restaurant or café, or treat them to a spa day or silly activity like laser tag or a theme park. If you both have busy schedules, you can buy them a gift card to use when you’re both free.

Create a care package

Birthdays are hard for some people, whether they’ve had a tough year, it’s the first one without a particular loved one, or they’re just panicking about getting older. If that sounds like your birthday pal, create a special care package for them.

Fill it with their favourite snacks and tipples, a comfort DVD, some easy reading, or skin care products. Let them know that you’re here for them, and that they deserve a little self-care.

A gift on their behalf

It can sometimes feel like we buy birthday presents just for the sake of it, giving people things they neither want nor need.

If that sounds familiar, why not consider donating to a charity in your friend’s name instead. If they’re an animal lover, give to an animal charity that will send them updates and a cuddly toy. If they’re passionate about the environment, give to Greenpeace or a charity that will plant a tree in their honour.

It’s a thoughtful gift they’re sure to appreciate.

Letter parade

This is something which is perfect for milestone birthdays, but which will require a little coordination and organisation.

In the weeks leading up to the person’s birthday, secretly contact their friends and family, and perhaps some people they haven’t spoken to in a while, and get them to write a letter – as long or short as they like – to that person. They can send it by post or by email, but when you have them all, print them off, seal them in a box or envelope, and have them open it on the morning of their big day.

It might evoke tears, goosebumps, raucous laughter, or all of the above, but it’s a beautiful way to show a person how much they are loved.

Cannabis laws are constantly changing and evolving and with it, are the ways that people are consuming cannabis. More and more states are now legalizing cannabis in various forms and as a result, there are more consumption methods to choose from to get you high. This post will explore some of the most popular methods of cannabis consumption from edibles to smoking to vaping. We’ll also discuss the pros and cons of each consumption method so that you can make an informed decision when choosing a method that is right for you.

Chillums

Smoking accessories come in all shapes and sizes, and one of the more unique varieties is the chillum. Also known as a “chillum pipe”, this type of smoking device is thought to have originated in India, where it was used by sadhus (Hindu holy men). A chillum is simple in design, typically consisting of a straight or curved tube with a bowl on one end and a mouthpiece on the other. Unlike traditional pipes or bongs, there is no through-hole, meaning that smoke must first pass through the herbs before being inhaled. They are made from clay, stone, or glass, and are often very simple in design. DankStop is an online head shop that offers a wide variety of these devices, and you can read more about them here. Though they are not as popular as they once were, they still have their fans and can be a great way to smoke your herb.

Bongs and bubblers

Bongs and bubblers are both handheld water filtration devices used to smoke dry herbs. Bongs are larger in size and consist of a mouthpiece, a bowl for the cannabis, a clutch, neck, and port for the water. To consume, you fill the bong with some water and stack a small number of dry herbs in the bowl. You then need to hold the clutch and burn the dry herbs while inhaling simultaneously inhaling through the mouthpiece. Once the water bubbles and the bong fills with smoke, release the clutch and inhale the smoke. People can purchase a variety of bongs and accessories from the online bong shop. It allows people to have a wide selection of different items without having to go out into public or shop at a store.

Dry herb vaporizers

Dry herb vaporizers are battery-powered handheld inhalation devices. This device heats the dry herb at a controlled temperature which produces vapor that is believed to be much healthier than smoke produced by a joint or bong. This device consists of a mouthpiece, chamber, and battery, and to use it simply fill the chamber with a small number of dry herbs, turn the device on, select your desired temperature, inhale and exhale. You then repeat this until the session is over or until you want to stop. The beauty of this device is that you choose your temperature which customizes your experience because each temperature produces a different effect (lower temperatures release more flavor while higher temperatures induce strong bodily effects). Dry herb vaporizers are portable, convenient, and discreet.

Edibles

Edibles are food and drink products that contain cannabis. You will find a variety of edibles including gummies, brownies, cookies, tea, water, and even alcoholic beverages such as beer or wine. When you consume edibles, they get processed in your digestive system and liver which takes roughly 60 minutes- 2 hours before the effects kick in. Once they eventually kick in, you will enjoy effects that are potent, intense, and last upward of 12 hours. Edibles are popular because of the long duration and potent effects as well as the safety and discretion of this consumption method.

Hand pipes

A hand pipe, also known as the “spoon”, is the most common pipe that is used for smoking cannabis. These pipes are small, handheld, and come in a variety of materials including glass, wood, silicone, and acrylic. Hand pipes consist of a bowl that you use to stack your dry herbs into and when you smoke with this device, light the herbs inhaling slowly through the mouthpiece on the opposite end. This device is affordable, portable, and uses a small amount of cannabis per session which will save you money.

Dab rigs

Finally, we have dab rigs, which are water filtration devices that are similar in appearance to a bong. The difference is that dab rigs produce vapor and do not use dry herbs, rather cannabis concentrates such as wax or oil. This device also comes with an accessory called a nail that is a vital component in the consumption process. To consume, simply fill the device with some water, place a small amount of concentrate in the bowl, heat the nail with a flame, and then place the nail on the concentrate until vapor appears which you then need to inhale. Dab rigs offer a unique experience and a hit from a dab provides a lot of flavors which is why people love this device.

Well, we made it. Hello 2022. There’s clearly mixed feelings floating around at the moment. Those who see the new year as a chance to shout ‘new year, same me’ and those that prefer to be on the side of ‘new year, new me.’ Personally, I edge closer to the latter because there is no time like a new year to have a fresh start.

I took ‘have a fresh start’ quite literally by moving in to my new home on the 1st of January and buying every single piece of furniture (plates, cutlery, sofa and everything in between) from scratch because I sold everything back in 2021 when I was planning to move to LA. If you follow my socials, you’ll know why that never happened.

But, this post is positive vibes only! I realised that, having being publishing House of Coco magazine for EIGHT YEARS THIS YEAR (seriously, where did that time go?), I have not once written a single post from me to you. *hangs head in shame*

We have built this platform with thousands of pieces of content from the thousands of amazing brands we have worked with over the years, but never once have I used it as a vehicle for me to share my words with you. It’s as if 2022 started and a lightbulb went off and said ‘Hey, Laura. You can use your own magazine to write messages to your audience so that you are not restricted by the word count on a status update on social media.’ Sometimes the most obvious things are always staring us right in the face.

Which leads me to say this. Sorry. Because from now on, you will be hearing more from me on here. I will be sharing all of the behind the scenes goings on at House of Coco, taking you with me for the ride each week and being open about my plans on how I want to continue growing House of Coco magazine in to an internationally recognised brand. All whilst putting my middle finger up to those that say print is dead (I’m talking to you, Peter Jones).

What can you expect? Well, more of the same with a sprinkling of sparkle (I am the sparkle, for those wondering). In the past I have handed over the reigns of this magazine to so many different people and it hasn’t always moved forward as fast as I would like it to. Don’t get me wrong, starting this business from £0 and a bankruptcy to boot, it’s come WAY further than I ever anticipated back in the coffee shop when I was so broke I couldn’t buy my own drink. Back then I knew in my gut that this was going to be something special and now I know it more than ever. So I am getting right back in the driving seat and getting my hands dirty in every department. I will be relaunching our newsletter in the first quarter, sign up here to be the first to see what’s inside, expect some giveaways, outtakes and a shed load of high energy. Plus, I am working on our 2022 social media strategy to make sure we give you more value, fun and insider info than ever before.

Also, I am working with our distributors to make sure our quarterly print magazine is available here, there and everywhere (currently we’re nationwide in WHSmith, sold across London in Harrods, Selfridges, airports and tube stations FYI). Reworking our App so that House of Coco on the go can give you more bang for your buck is also on my agenda and I will be nurturing my wonderful #TeamCoco, the other faces behind our magazine. Right now, I am finalising the details for a ‘Joyful January’ retreat to take the team away for a couple of days so that we can mastermind, have fun and make some plans for the rest of the year.

I have always been about collaboration over competition and I am excited about partnering with more content creators, brands and agencies in 2022. But more important than anything, I want to get to know you better, our readers. My inbox is always open to share your suggestions and tell us what you want to see from us so get in touch anytime.

I am putting my stake in the grass and claiming this as OUR year. So, let’s make it a good one!

Ciao for now, Laura x

If you take fashion seriously, you’ll probably already be well aware of the glitz and glamor that is part and parcel of the land-based casino experience.

Luckily this is something which also translates to a lot of the games which are available, whether you choose to play at a bricks and mortar venue or instead get your casino kicks online from the comfort of your couch.

To help you find the best fashion-focused casino games, we’ve put together a list of the best themed titles out there right now.

Immortal Romance

If you’re into the more gothic end of the fashion spectrum, then this Twilight-inspired slot game will definitely become a firm favorite.

From the dashing dudes in duster jackets to the delightful dresses of the female damsels they seduce, a lot of work has gone into making Immortal Romance look and feel super-stylish.

In fact, a lot of the cool casino outfits and dress code requirements of actual gambling venues are easily met by the characters featured in the game. While the theme may be a bit too spooky and scary for some players, fans of vampires, werewolves and all things supernatural will get a kick out of it.

Mega Jackpots Cleopatra

You can’t talk about historic fashion icons as well as feminist powerhouses without mentioning Cleopatra, one of Ancient Egypt’s most memorable and influential rulers whose dress sense and taste for opulence is still emulated to this day.

It’s no surprise to see Cleopatra crop up in all sorts of casino games as a result of her wealth, power and ultimate diva energy.

Arguably the best of the bunch is Mega Jackpot’s Cleopatra, which has been around for a few years now, but still manages to get players’ pulses racing thanks to its great graphics and mouth-watering payouts.

DaVinci Diamonds

Much is made of the role of jewelry in fashion, and DaVinci Diamonds from seasoned casino game developer IGT definitely caters to this market. Its flashy imagery is focused on gemstones of all shapes, sizes and colors, while also mixing things up with some modern interpretations of the artworks from the great Italian master himself.

One such symbol is the Mona Lisa, a woman who has intrigued successive generations with her hard-to-read half-smile. And of course if you are enticed by renaissance-era fashion, then there’s even more reason to give this game a try.

Mercy of the Gods

Play around at online casinos for long enough and you’ll realize that a lot of the themes get reused, repurposed or plain pilfered by developers who are chasing the success enjoyed by established hits. The Indiana Jones-style trope is particularly widespread, which doesn’t always make things that interesting.

Thankfully there are some exceptions to this rule, as Mercy of the Gods has a female protagonist instead of a male one, and makes the most of this with symbols that show how adventurer fashion can look just as good on women as on men.

The outdoor wear inspired by the 1920s and 30s that helped catapult Harrison Ford’s daring college professor into the limelight in the 1980s is present and correct here, so check this out if you are enamored by a more rugged approach to fashion.

Gypsy Riches

Another common theme across slots is the exploration of exotic cultures and societies which exist outside the humdrum, everyday existence we have to put up with in the modern Western world. This provides opportunities for different fashions to be explored, as further exemplified by Gypsy Riches.

While many of the symbols are more tangentially related to the titular mystical woman, she herself shows up in both the online and land-based versions of this slot. And from her flowing locks held back by her traditional fringed headband, to her perfectly applied makeup, there’s lots of fashion inspiration to be gained from how she is portrayed by the game’s artists.

Hotline 2

While the 1990s era of fashion may be riding high at the moment, there’s still plenty of 80s influences floating around in modern collections. And if you’re looking for a throwback to this decade of glowing neon and excess, then Hotline 2 is the place to find it.

Drawing a lot of its details from the likes of Miami Vice, this game features fast cars, pastel-colored suits and so much more besides.

Of course if you have a different taste in fashion, there are literally thousands of other casino games to try, so a quick search will surely bring up something to pique your interest.

Injuries are a common part of life, and many people have experienced some form of injury at one point or another. The pain can be so bad that it is difficult to even move your body, but there are ways you can cope with the physical and emotional strain that comes along with getting injured. This article will give you an understanding of the things you should do after getting injured.

1. Educate yourself on your injury

Before you begin trying to get better, you should assess your injury to be sure of what type of injury it is that you have sustained. For example, if you break your arm then it would be wise to go get an X-ray done so that the doctor can assess how bad the injury is. If you don’t, then your doctor may try to set the bone and it could end up not healing properly. If the injury involves of someone’s negligence, a seasoned injury attorney can help you get compensated and secure your rights. Depending on the location and severity of your injury, it’s important that you understand what type of injury you have and potentially contact a few injury lawyers so that you can give yourself an accurate timeline for recovery and know what your next move needs to be.

The waterproof arm protector effectively keeps the arm dry and protected, allowing individuals to shower or swim without compromising bandages or wounds.

2. Record all of the details

For example, if you are in an accident with the other driver, make sure you write down all of the details. If you are physically injured in some way, take pictures of all of the bruises that are on your body. The more evidence you have for when you can’t remember things can be extremely helpful to your case in court in order to prove the severity of your injury.

3. Stay calm

When injured in some way, it’s important that you try not to become angry or emotional. One of the main things you need to do is remain calm during your injury because if you are feeling emotional or angry, it can slow down your recovery time in some ways. If you’re not physically hurt but are emotionally stressed due to what has occurred to cause your injury, try talking to someone who has experience with people going through this. For example, if you’ve become injured due to an accident then your doctor has probably dealt with other people who have gone through the same thing and would be able to assist you in getting back on your feet.

4. Consult a doctor

When you get injured, if possible it is best to go straight to the emergency room and consult a doctor about what your options are and how severe the injury is. You want to make sure that you do not try and treat your injury on your own just because it is a type of injury that you have dealt with before and know how to heal. It’s important for you to remember that injuries evolve as time goes on, so if you feel like any part of the healing process isn’t going well then do not hesitate to go back and consult a doctor about it.

5. Be patient with the healing process

Healing from an injury takes time, and if you do everything that you can to help yourself heal then there’s no need for you to get upset or angry if things aren’t going as quickly as you would like.
