#CocoKitchen : The Ivy Is Coming To Leeds

The Ivy Victoria Quarter has announced that it will open the doors to its new, 200-cover brasserie on Tuesday, 25 September and here at House of Coco we couldn’t be more excited! As fans of the brand, having eaten at all of the restaurants across the country one too many times, we love that the iconic brasserie is launching another location in the north.

Situated within the renowned Victoria Quarter arcade, The Ivy Collection’s latest Yorkshire brasserie will be open seven days a week, from dawn until dusk. The restaurant will offer those shopping, visiting, living or working in Leeds with a selection of expansive menus – from breakfast, brunch and lunch, to afternoon tea, light snacks and dinner. Offering something for all occasions, The Ivy Victoria Quarter will be just as suitable for working lunches as it will be for celebratory dinners with friends and family.

Key dishes from the menu will include hot buttermilk pancakes (with strawberries, raspberries and blackberries with Greek yoghurt, lemon balm and warm strawberry sauce),oak smoked salmon (smoked salmon, black pepper and lemon with dark rye bread), The Ivy shepherd’s pie (slow-braised lamb shoulder with beef and potato mash), salmon and smoked haddock fish cake (crushed pea and herb sauce with a soft poached hen’s egg and baby watercress) and the iconic chocolate bombe (melting chocolate bombe with a vanilla ice cream and honeycomb centre with hot salted caramel sauce).

Complementing the brasserie’s food menus will be a series of unique drinks which can be enjoyed either in the restaurant or at the eatery’s stylish onyx bar. These include a series of craft beers from North Yorkshire’s Black Sheep Brewery as well as a selection of cocktails unique to The Ivy Victoria Quarter.

Split across two floors, the brasserie’s artwork will take inspiration from a number of sources, including Leeds’ wool production industry, for which it was famed during the Industrial Revolution, as well as the railway, aviation, Victorian engineering and local landscape.

The critically-acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio is consulting on the brasserie’s interior design. Notable features will include an onyx bar, pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet panel flooring and comfortable leather banquettes, all creating a relaxed, sophisticated destination for all-day dining.

Speaking about the new restaurant, Laura Bamber, Area Manager at The Ivy Victoria Quarter, says: “We’re really excited to announce that our new Leeds brasserie will be opening this September, just a few short weeks away. We’re looking forward to opening in one of the city’s most iconic shopping and leisure destinations, and are excited to showcase our all-encompassing menus to our guests and future regulars.”

The Ivy Collection is a group of restaurants, brasseries and cafes, established in London and now growing regionally across the UK, offering accessible, all-day dining for locals and visitors alike. Each location is carefully handpicked to value, reflect and add to the local area.
