Feast your pies on this…
If you’ve been fortunate enough to follow the famous NC500 route or backpack around Lochinver, you’ll undoubtedly have heard of local pastry legends, Lochinver Pies. Since 2003 they’ve been sending out a piece of Lochinver through Pies by Post. Every pie is handmade onsite and baked by their Lochinver Pie Makers – we’ve been told they’re pretty tasty! Packed full of filling and wrapped in a delicate and buttery pastry, the Lochinver pie will keep you coming back for more. Lochinver sits on a sheltered bay in the wilds of the far North West, dominated by remarkable views across mountain, river and loch. It’s a beautiful and remote town in Scotland which, sadly, most of us cannot visit right now, but the pastry maestros themselves have come up with a competition that could have you knee deep in golden, flaky, buttery goodness in no time.
