What Demi says about Las Vegas

Your destination guide by way of fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, and #CocoCultures writer, Demi Aspey!

Nestled in the heart of the Mojave desert, Las Vegas is home to iconic rock bands, The Killers and Panic at the Disco and a host of famous artists in residence across the prestigious hotels and casinos.

Las Vegas has long been hailed as the playground of the rich and famous, legendary for its seduction of sin, debauchery and gambling. But there’s more to Vegas than meets the eye! The 4.2-mile Las Vegas “strip” is a wondrous glint in the depths of the desert that offers luxury and excess for every taste, steeped in a dark, mesmerising history emblazoned by hotel tycoons, gangsters and showgirls.

Today, Las Vegas boasts 14 of the 20 largest hotels in the world, 60 major casinos, over 700 fine-dining restaurants and a motley of ever-evolving shows. Outside the strip, you can experience the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, seismic Hoover Dam and nostalgic neon boneyard.

Whether you’re visiting for a good time or a long time, there’s no denying Vegas is one for the bucket list!
