House of Coco has gone to the dogs, and we’re heading to Sin City with them in tow!

Our animal-loving team has sniffed out the best trails, tastiest treats, and most tail-wagging adventures for you and your furry friend to enjoy together.

We’re talking parks for them to stretch their legs… sunny patios to stretch out on… and baked goods that’ll stretch what you thought was possible from dog food.

You’d be barking mad not to read on! (Sorry)

First things first…

Dog-Friendly Days Out in Las Vegas

Travelling with your pooch can be incredibly rewarding. They’ll get more exercise, grow in confidence, experience new sights, sounds, and smells, and – best of all – you won’t have to be apart.

But when heading somewhere like Nevada, it pays to be prepared. Here are a few key things to consider.

Travel:

Will your pup cope with the flight and inevitable long car journeys? If they have bad separation anxiety or health conditions, it probably isn’t worth the hassle.

Accommodation:

There are plenty of dog-friendly hotels and apartments in Las Vegas, so you won’t have to try and sneak your four-legged friend past a suspicious Air BnB host.

Weather:

Nevada summers don’t mess around! We recommend visiting during the cooler months to keep your pet safe and avoid the dangerous temperatures. The added bonus is that there’ll be fewer tourists in the off-season, too.

Take a walk on the wild side

You may be surprised to hear you can actually walk your dog down the iconic Las Vegas Strip.

Arrive anytime from 5 a.m. until noon and strut to your heart’s content for seven glorious miles between Sahara Avenue and Sunset Road.

Just keep dogs on a leash no more than 3 feet long!

Prefer to escape the hustle and bustle?

There are tons of dedicated dog parks complete with doggy fountains, splash pads, and – of course – plenty of room for when the zoomies strike.

Sunset Dog Park on 2601 E Sunset Road, and Woofter Dog Park at 1600 Rock Springs Drive are popular among social groups, making them perfect for chatting and making friends.

For the really adventurous at heart, the Lake Mead National Recreational Area is just 40 minutes away. With over 1.5 million acres along the Colorado River to explore, even the most hyperactive hounds will tire themselves out!

Food and Drink

After all that exploring, you’ll no doubt have worked up an appetite!
