Here at House of Coco, we’re all about drinking cocktails from fancy glasses with candy floss on the side and hanging out in places that will complement our Instagram feed #SorryNotSorry. So when we found at that Dollhouse Leeds was opening it’s doors, we got our cameras at the ready.

The Leeds nightlife scene is about to get a hot-as-hell upgrade with the arrival of Dollhouse. Residing in a beautiful grade-II listed building in the city centre’s historical Hirst’s Yard, this picture-perfect bar presents a fresh new concept from local lad and platinum selling artist Tom Zanetti and DJ and entrepreneur Kane Towning.

With no expense spared, the sky is the limit at Dollhouse. Located down a cobbled street just off Call Lane, the bar formerly known as Red Door is currently undergoing an outrageously lavish makeover that will see it transformed into the city’s most Insta-worthy destination. It’s going to be off the Richter Scale!

The quarter of a million pound investment ensures that this opulent hot-spot will feature a sound system as dynamic as the bar itself, so expect your favourite beats to pop when they drop in crystal clear surround sound.

The high life

As well as providing an unparalleled entertainment and music experience, Dollhouse will be a place to enjoy the high life. With VIP tables aplenty and a drinks menu boasting signature cocktails, premium international spirits, champagne and more, this is a space designed for making memories, whether it’s date night with your bae or a birthday celebration with the crew.

Dollhouse will launch with a star-studded private VIP, party on Saturday 27th July, and then open for business with no less than four public launch nights between 1-4th August, which will tie in nicely with the city wide ‘Pride’ celebrations

The brainchild of Tom Zanetti and fellow entrepreneur and DJ Kane Towning, the tour-de-force duo’s first bar has been a long time coming. Having toured the world together promoting and performing at some of the planets biggest clubs and festivals, Dollhouse is a fusion of the pairs savvy industry knowledge and passion for music and parties. Tom is already familiar face on the UK dance scene, and has dropped several bangers via Sony Music.

Dark and dirty

His dark and dirty 2016 smash ‘You Want Me’ topped the iTunes chart and has amassed over 30 million streams on Spotify apps. Follow up track ‘More & More’ swallowed up tabloid news column inches, thanks to its steamy music video shot in the Ibiza Hills with model Demi Rose.

Appearances on Love Island, MTV’s Just Tattoo of Us, Good Morning Britain and 4Music Live have only solidified his hot-property status, and he can often be found hanging out at red carpet events mixing with the likes of Idris Elba, Mist and JayKae.

Tom is currently on his summer 2019 tour, which includes a residency at the ultra-exclusive Sisu in Marbella alongside Craig David, DJ EZ and Steel Banglez. Tom had this to say ahead of the launch:

“After a whirlwind decade of music and running sell-out events, we felt the stars were aligned when it came to bringing Dollhouse to our hometown. The people of Leeds know how to have a good time, and this venue is the perfect blank canvas to create the ultimate nightlife destination.

Kane and I go way back, and we’ve always known how to play to our strengths to turn and create a great party. The concept is going to be something really special and what we have worked 15 years towards – we can not wait to bring Dollhouse to Leeds!”

Dancefloor bombs

In contrast, long-time friend and business partner Kane Towning likes to keep a lower profile, yet is no stranger to success himself.

As the mastermind behind the now legendary Made In Leeds Festival and other event brand goliaths, Kane is first and foremost a businessman with a sharp eye for the next big thing. When he’s not working on his next event, Kane can be found playing in the best clubs across the world as an acclaimed DJ.

After falling in love with music and mixing at the age of 13, Kane has gone onto carve an impressive DJ career of his own. His recent Tech remix of Meduza’s ‘Piece of Your Heart’ with Josh Hunter has been filling dancefloors across Europe and even landed plays on BBC Radio One.

In 2020, Tom and Kane will be celebrating 10 years of their iconic club brand Sleepin is Cheatin. The SIC brand has taken the pair on a bona-fide rollercoaster ride, that includes countless parties, festivals, merchandise, The SIC Life tv show and a Warner Music backed record label.

If anyone knows how to get the party started, it’s these two. So, who’s ready for Dollhouse? Details of the VIP launch will be arriving soon, so watch this space. Playtime is almost here.
