Empowering Women Through Fashion

Here at House of Coco we recently met up with Isai58 – a British-Skandinavian womenswear brand who specialise in work wear and feature powerful classics with innovative quirks all whilst being committed to empowering women in the process!Picture

Any woman who has worked in an office environment can testify to the struggles of finding an outfit that looks chic and professional but is also practical enough to not restrict performance.

Karoline Dowson (pictured above in the hat), Founder of Isai58 says; “We want to enable women to look like they run the show with style whilst feeling effortless and comfortable. That’s why we make sure our garments will empower you to feel like you can conquer the world, yet be practical enough to enable you to do it. For example our blouses are made with cupro fabric, which breathes and has moisture-absorbing qualities. Perfect for keeping your cool in those risk-taking and high-pressure moments!”

Isai58 not only empower the women who wear their clothes but also the women who make them by working with a highly skilled production unit who employ and train vulnerable women in India. This employment provides the women with financial stability and is a way out of poverty for them and their family.

Karoline continues; “We know that people matter and so does caring for the world we live in.”

All clothes available from Isai58 are made with eco-friendly materials that are innovative and functional, such as cupro and tencel. The amazing thing about these fabrics is that not only do they drape beautifully and feel super soft against your skin but they are also extremely practical. With anti crease and body temperature regulating qualities, they are also easy to clean and quick to dry.
