“Falling” for Jackets

The chill in the air, the change of color in the leaves, and of course the fashion. Fall has kicked off in a major way this year and the House Of Coco team has definitely noticed. We have been on the lookout for the latest fall trends and jackets are one of the biggest ones. Lets get right into them.

The bomber jacket has been the must-own outerwear silhouette for several seasons now, and its influence is yet to wane. With its origins stemming from the apparel of wartime pilots, this cover-up comes supplied with instant hero status. Contrast fabric combinations are a smart way to approach the look. The bomber is one of my favorites. Its lightweight and pretty much goes with everything especially if you’re a guy on the go. image1xlhm-gray-bomber-jacket-product-1-16298002-0-703430591-normal_large_flex

The varsity jacket is another great choice for the fall.  This a jacket for the style consciousness – its unique blend of preppy cool and vintage style make it ideal for tapping into classic collegiate-inspired dressing. Id pair them with slim-cut chinos and oxblood penny loafers for a modern take on the traditional Ivy League aesthetic.

Lightweight technical jackets for gents on the go illustrate the demands of modern life, where the lines between sportswear and casual wear blur. Garments are now designed to serve a multifaceted role – Levi’s Commuter range is an excellent example of this genre and an intelligent investment for the urban cyclist.

Last but definitely not least, The Classic Leather Jacket. I think everyone has or at least has had a leather jacket. The leather jacket claimed its place on the fashion wall of fame in the 1950s. It became a piece of Hollywood iconography that soon crossed the pond in all directions. The style icons that dared to don it only heightened the staple of all things cool. Leathers look really cool when you pair them with boots and dark denim.Leather Leather2
