At a recent careers event we were delighted that time was spent talking about the care we need to take of ourselves to be our best selves. Madonna knows the value of hardwork (she famously quipped “I’m tough, I’m ambitious and I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, okay.” over the release of this very song) and so do you, but there’s no harm getting some support along the way.

Get Into the Groove mentally
There’s a great bit of positive psychology which originates from Csikszentmihayli (say “Chick-Sent-Me-Hi”) about the varying strands that combine to put you into the state of ‘Flow’, completely focused attention. There are many areas to get in balance for perfect flow, but let’s work on one this week!
To help you get into a state of concentration give mindfulness and meditation a bash. Don’t be alarmed it’s not hippy nonsense and has been proven to boost creativity and productivity. Plus, and keep this one to yourself, it’s dead easy. To learn more visit The Evolutionaries
