To celebrate the launch of the lovingly crafted Darling Maeve range, Grid Thirteen put on a Northern night to remember at their eponymous showroom on Street Lane on 31 March 2022 and our Editor in Chief, Laura Bartlett, was the glamorous host.

The Yorkshire brand is bolstered by a team of exceptionally skilled, time-served master cabinetmakers, dedicated to exquisite quality in architectural joinery. It was fitting that this launch of the new range paid homage to all things Yorkshire with food and entertainment from local gems.

Working in collaboration with private clients, architects, and interior designers, Grid Thirteen strives to create and deliver beautiful spaces tailored to suit the individuality of each home, combining a passion for excellence in design with the heritage of British craftmanship.

The brand proudly celebrates Yorkshire heritage, design and craftsmanship with this all coming together in its showroom. Their range includes the new Darling Maeve and offers timeless elegance which promises to stand the test of time over ‘come and go’ trends. Grid Thirteen also represents a conscious option to invest in sustainability for the home, using the finest materials with exceptionally high standards which can be updated with endless colour options.

The Grid Thirteen showroom on Street Lane has undergone a full refurbishment which now offers a complete home design service, including luxury dressing rooms, bedrooms, studies, nurseries, boot rooms, libraries, movie rooms and state-of-the-art home spas – all of which were celebrated during March’s launch event for the Darling Maeve collection.

To launch this new range in style, Grid Thirteen was dressed with delightful guests and food by Eric Paxman, of Eric’s Restaurant in Lindley who served up a three course meal. Bora Kitchens dished up sample dishes, while the night itself was hosted by entrepreneur and founder of House of Coco magazine, Laura Bartlett. To draw the guests in, the event partnered with the Leeds dealership of luxury car brand Bentley Leeds whose Flying Spur V8 in Moonbeam Silver and GT V8 Coupe in Dark Sapphire flanked the entrance to the showroom.

Among the 100 + guests were local legends – from influencers to business owners from the affluent area of North Leeds. In Laura’s speech she congratulated Natalie and the team at Grid Thirteen on their massive success and tripling their turnover during the last two years. It looks like the Darling Maeve collection will be another string to Grid Thirteen’s already glittering bow.
