It might seem crazy what we’re about to say…
Grammy award-winner Pharrell Williams is to write four books starting with a celebration of childhood inspired by his hit song ‘Happy’. The book will feature photographs of children from around the world “celebrating what it means to be happy”.
The official video for the song ‘Happy’ has been viewed over 580 million times on YouTube. Pharrell Williams was recently interviewed on Oprah and spoke about how he is overwhelmed that his passion for music has enabled him to create a song which has been taken over globally!
Putnam Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin, announced this week the first print run will be 250,000 copies of Happy, which will be published on 22 September.
Here in the House of Coco office we can’t wait to see them!
Let’s all try and ‘smile today… because happy looks good on you!’
