In our always-connected world, a good night’s sleep has become elusive for many. Between the demands of work, social media, and stress, restful sleep can feel like an unattainable luxury. But as technology often disrupts sleep, it also offers new tools to help us reclaim it. We paid a visit to luxury wellness destination, Grey Wolfe, to check out their sleep tech and spoke to founder, Sarah Jones St John about the sleep tech tools designed to help you drift off, stay asleep, and wake up refreshed.
Grey Wolfe offers an array of pioneering BioTech designed to restore balance, regulate circadian rhythms, and address specific sleep disruptions.

Ease into Sleep
If you are new to sleep tech, Jones St John recommends trying Neurosym. This wearable device targets the vagus nerve using gentle pulses to ease nervous tension, reduce anxiety, and foster a calm mental state. By stimulating the vagus nerve, Neurosym helps the brain ease into alpha and theta wave activity, enhancing the natural rhythm needed for sleep onset.
She concludes, “Neurosym is particularly good for those who experience racing thoughts or heightened anxiety before bed, as it promotes the parasympathetic response, aligning with the brain’s natural descent into sleep”.

Grey Wolfe members looking to enhance their sleep love the Rebalance Impulse Bed. Using low-frequency impulses that stimulate the vagus nerve, the Rebalancer helps calm the autonomic nervous system, crucial for promoting deep, restful sleep. This device helps move our beta brainwaves (alert state) to alpha and theta waves that prime the brain for sleep onset.
Regular InfraRed sauna sessions can help reduce night-time awakenings and improve the overall depth of your sleep cycles. Jones St John explains, “InfraRed saunas create a gentle warming effect, which prompt the body’s thermoregulatory response. By helping to decrease core body temperature after a sauna session, this tech supports the natural drop in temperature needed for sleep initiation”. InfraRed exposure also promotes melatonin production, our primary sleep hormone, by reducing cortisol and engaging the parasympathetic nervous system.

Grey Wolfe recommends Hyperbaric therapy to help boost sleep. A session in their Hyperbaric chambers provide oxygen therapy that saturates the blood and tissues, enhancing cellular recovery and reducing inflammation. This process supports sleep by accelerating tissue repair during deep sleep, the body’s restoration stage. Jones St John says, “It’s particularly helpful for those with chronic fatigue or physical injuries, as the additional oxygen facilitates cellular processes that reduce muscle soreness and inflammation, making the body more relaxed and able to fall into deep, relaxing sleep”.
Reduce Erratic Sleep Patterns
For those struggling with delayed or erratic sleep patterns, Jones St John recommends trying light therapy. Exposure to bright light in the morning signals the body to halt melatonin production and enter the wake cycle, while dim light or avoidance of blue light in the evening allows melatonin to rise naturally. For the best results, Jones St John suggests, “placing a light therapy lamp on your desk for 20–30 minutes in the morning, maintaining consistent timing to help reinforce your natural sleep-wake cycle”.
Sound-related solutions can also support a good night sleep. Jones St John explains, “Sound machines emit white or pink noise that masks sudden changes in ambient noise, ideal for light sleepers. Sleep headphones, on the other hand, can deliver calming sounds or music directly to the ears. Combining these can create a fully immersive auditory environment, especially useful for those in noisy surroundings or who need sound cues to relax into sleep”.

Reduce Jetlag and Regulate Sleep
Frequent flyers can head to Grey Wolfe to manage jet lag. Jones St John recommends trying light therapy to help realign your circadian rhythm by adjusting melatonin levels in sync with the new time zone. The Rebalance Impulse Bed can help to recalibrate your internal clock and reduce stress, making it easier to settle into a new rhythm.
A common myth is that sleep tech alone can solve sleep issues, tech functions best as a support rather than a cure-all. Grey Wolfe’s approach is to empower members with tools and knowledge that enhance natural rhythms and physiological processes, ensuring long-term, sustainable improvements. With a balanced approach, these products offer meaningful benefits without becoming overly dependent on them.
“It’s important to note that everyone’s sleep patterns are different, so there is no ‘one-fits-all’ approach to sleep, even through BioTech”, says Jones St John. “With that said, most of the sleep tech available can greatly improve our chances of enjoying a good night’s rest by tackling some of the common issues we all experience, such as anxiety, fatigue, injuries and general stress”.
Tips to Improve Sleep
She’s keen to point out, “We can improve our sleep by introducing a regular sleeping schedule. This should be a non-negotiable part of our lives, even while travelling. Then, focus on addressing how both your mind, and the body feel. You want to give yourself the best foundation for a good night’s rest, and that starts with leaving your day behind”. Her top tips include: Journaling, meditation or breathwork, as these are all great mindfulness-based practices that help our minds put the day to rest. She concludes, “Sound machines, bath salts, a high-quality sleep mask and natural bedding are all great elements to have at hand to enhance our sleep quality”.
