Containing roughly twice the salt concentration of sea water, ‘Seamist’ has been designed to replicate the aromas and sensation of a morning walk along the shore, with your senses being filled with fresh sea air and a subtle saltiness from the spray of waves as the early morning sun turns it into sea mist.
The perfect addition to Salcombe Gin’s original ‘Start Point & Tonic’ serve, when spritzed over the glass it gives the drinker a heightened palate and nostalgic feeling of being by the water, even when away from the coast.

‘Salcombe Seamist’
Elevate your ‘Start Point & Tonic’ experience with this unique liquid garnish that has been handcrafted with red grapefruit, coastal botanicals and Cornish sea salt to encapsulate the essence of the sea. Simply pour one large measure of Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’ over plenty of ice, add three parts premium Indian tonic water and a slice of red grapefruit. Stir gently and finish with two sprays of ‘Seamist’ over the top of the glass.
Ingredients:
• 50ml Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’
• 150ml Premium Indian tonic water
• 2 sprays of ‘Seamist’
• Red grapefruit slice
• Plenty of ice
Method:
• Fill a large gin glass with ice
• Add 50ml Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’
• Top with 150ml premium Indian tonic water
• Garnish with a slice of red grapefruit
• Finish with 2 sprays of ‘Seamist’ over the top of the glass.
‘Mistini’
A breath of coastal air meets a classic Martini. This elegant and sophisticated cocktail combines citrus led flavours of Salcombe Distilling Co.’s multi-award winning Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’ with a moreish saline note from the ‘Seamist’ liquid garnish. The
result is nostalgic and timeless.
Ingredients:
• 50ml Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’
• 20ml Belsazar Dry Vermouth
• 10ml Bodegas Tradición Fino Sherry
• 4 sprays of ‘Seamist’ liquid garnish
• Red grapefruit peel
Method:
• Chill a Martini glass with ice and leave to one side
• Place the ‘Start Point’, Dry Vermouth and Fino Sherry in a mixing glass. Fill with
ice and stir gently with a bar spoon for 15 seconds
• Remove the ice from the Martini glass and use a julep strainer to strain the
liquid into the glass
• Add 4 sprays of ‘Seamist’ over the top of the glass and garnish with red
grapefruit peel
