This week our Lifestyle Editor Jo Jessop stumbled across Splinter Designs which was founded in 2005 by designer Jacob Pugh and produces beautiful, innovative and wonderful hand-crafted furniture and home accessories.
Carefully selected materials and close attention to detail give Jacob’s products a long-lasting quality. He aims to create quiet, timeless designs that will be cherished for many years.
The new SS15 collection from Splinter Designs has recently being introduced by Clippings.com at the Clerkenwell Design Week 2015. Designer Jacob Pugh’s new products include tables, stools and home accessories made from birch, ash, oak and American black walnut.
Here at House of Coco we loved…
The Animals in Wood: Wooden illustrations of a bear and a deer, laser etched onto birch plywood.
Grow Clock: These clocks are illustrated with rings similar to those found on the trunk of a tree. The pattern is laser etched on birch plywood, set into a solid cork body.
We also loved these really cute petite bedside tables include a handy drawer for storing books and other bedtime necessities. They are hand crafted from solid ash or american black walnut and hand-finished in hard wax oil.
