Opera Holland Park

If you’re a fan of opera, you won’t want to miss the fantastic Opera Holland Park event. Held each year in the picturesque Holland Park, it runs from June 4th, through to August 3rd. It takes place in a temporary structure dubbed the Holland Park Theatre, and this year you can enjoy 35 different performances, along with five impressive productions. The orchestra which is being used for all of the productions this year, is the City of London Sinfonia.

Hampton Court Palace Festival

The spectacular Hampton Court Palace Festival is now in it’s 27th year and it’s known to attract some of the biggest names in the music industry. This year is no exception, with Kylie Minogue, The Jacksons and Tears for Fears all part of the all-star line-up.

Set within the grounds of the spectacular Hampton Court Palace, the festival is set to run from June 7th to June 21st. You’ll definitely want to take a picnic to make the most of this great festival if you do plan on going. You can get there via the Richmond Station, where it’s worth booking advance tickets to save both time and money.

Zoo Nights

If you’re planning on staying in the capital with the kids, Zoo Nights is a fantastic event you won’t want to miss. Running at London Zoo from June 7th through until June 28th, you and the family will get to witness a different side to this popular attraction. New for 2019, you’ll get to partake in the Plonk crazy golf course, which takes you past several animal habitats. There will also be a new guided tour, along with great street food vendors offering a variety of delicious cuisine.

Open Garden Squares

The Open Garden Squares weekend event is always popular in the capital. For this one weekend only on June 8th and 9th, you’ll get to explore private gardens throughout the city. There are over 230 gardens to choose from and many of them host a range of family-friendly activities on-site.

As you can see, there really is something to suit everyone running this June in the capital. If you are interested in attending any of the events going on, it’s definitely worth booking your tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment.
