Here at House of Coco the way we travel has changed. Gone are the days when we would need a holiday to get over the holiday, instead it’s all about coming home feeling healthy, rejuvenated and motivated.

Cue the arrival of Palm Rock Retreats, which ticks all of our boxes. It’s a luxury, wellness property which opens to the public this September. With several high-profile guests, including British loved celebs and American Oscar award winning actors, such as Ed Westwick, Amy Jackson, Vogue Williams, and Spencer Matthews already spotted enjoying private retreats at the property; Palm Rocks sold out their first phase of 2022 retreats within 48 hours of launching.

Headed up by British fitness entrepreneur and celeb trainer, Chris Wharton and his team of elite trainers, the experience focuses on dramatically improving both mental and physical health during their 4-7 day immersive, all-inclusive wellness breaks.

From sunrise poolside sessions, to compound weight training in their on-site gym, their programme covers every facet of fitness. All abilities are welcome with their expert coaches bringing together proven principles of exercise, with a modern and inclusive style and plenty of 1:1 attention. Guests will be given the freedom to create a truly bespoke experience to their stay, opt to participate in a single daily session, or set themselves a transformation challenge. Clients can decide the level and intensity of their experience according to their personal goals and capabilities.

5-star training deserves 5-star accommodation, housed in a 10 bedroom villa in the stunning landscape of SotoGrande, all of Palm Rock’s rooms have emperor beds, ensuite bathrooms and Egyptian cotton linen. Each room is conveniently located overlooking the15 metre deep dive pool giving guests easy access to the pool, juice bar, and chiringuito; with lush grounds and hammocks for ultimate relaxation.

Palm Rocks takes a 360 degree to health and fitness, their core ethos focuses on the gravity of mental health; therefore, mental wellbeing is an integral focus at a Palm Rocks retreat. Start your days rising with the sun with a morning breathwork and meditation practice led by Palm Rocks inhouse yoga instructor. Explore the studies of yoga: Vinyasa flow, Hatha, Restorative yoga combined with elements of reiki and energy release work, to work on a vibrational and energetic level.

The daily regime includes strength and conditioning training, the foundation of physical longevity; led by elite trainers and co-founders, Chris Wharton and Sam Preston, who have 2 decades of expertise behind them. Using their brand new onsite gym, they deliver bespoke strength training, with optional 1-2-1 personal training sessions available upon request.

Combined with restorative yoga flows, stretch and mobility sessions and active recovery activities; each day includes an external activity in the beautiful surrounding landscapes. From mountain hikes, to stand up paddle boarding or beach club water activities, not only will exposure to sunlight and fresh air positively influence your body’s natural stress response.

Palm Rock’s have partnered with a team of talented chefs and registered nutritionists to provide a delicious, nutrient dense daily menu, allowing guests to enjoy clean food without deprivation or restriction, which is frequently experienced at other retreats.

Pre-arrival, their team of nutritionists calculate clients macros and tailor meal plans to their individual needs. With this in mind, their menu has been expertly designed to fuel your body through your exercise regime whilst keeping you satiated and satisfied. Sourcing 100% organic, locally sourced ingredients from sustainable farming methods, Palm Rocks cater for all dietary requirements. To help guests recover and rejuvenate between sessions, guests are encouraged to give themselves the permission to pause with onsite massage therapists, yoga instructors, physiotherapists, and beauticians offering a wider range of treatments to support you in leaving the retreat feeling your best self, and are offered to clients on a daily basis throughout the day.

Returning from a retreat at Palm Rocks will not only leave you rejuvenated, but invigorate and motivate you to be the best version of yourself.
