By Chef Jen, the London – based healthy meal delivery service from Jenny Woodberry, has partnered with Maida Vale Society and North Paddington Youth Club to donate more than 100 meals weekly to support those in need.
Inspired by the Half Term Children’s School Meals Campaign, in winter 2020 ‘Shared By Chef Jen’ launched, initially raising £1905 by crowdfunding to support the donation of the meals. Chef Jen and her team now deliver free meals to both North Paddington Youth Club and St. Mary’s Hospital Paddington, simultaneously minimising food waste and supporting the local community with delicious and nutritious meals.
By Chef Jen is an inspiring and uplifting business story and the values of contributing to the local community and helping those in need are central to Chef Jen’s philosophy. Hailing from Wolverhampton originally, Chef Jen began her career as a chef over 8 years ago
in sunny Cornwall, whilst earning her degree. After developing a passion for fitness and nutrition, Chef Jen launched her own healthy meal delivery service and went on to work for a global personal training company, developing their meal prep businesses. Ready for a new challenge, in 2019 Chef Jen moved to London where she initially ran a charitable Soup Kitchen, before becoming a successful private chef cooking for busy clients. Due to the pandemic, Chef Jen swiftly adapted her business model in spring 2020 to become
a healthy meal delivery service. Since then By Chef Jen has gone from strength to strength, providing the perfect lifestyle solution of balanced and irresistible meals delivered straight to your door across central London.
By Chef Jen uses fresh, locally sourced produce to create menus which change weekly and the meals are packaged in recyclable paperboard boxes, and delivered in electric vehicles. By delivering charitable meals weekly to deserving community partners, Chef Jen is continuing to share her business values of inspiring others and educating people about eating well.
