Ramblers Worldwide Holidays – the experts in guided walking adventures across the globe – have pioneered walking holidays for nearly 70 years. Now the operator has produced a short video explaining its ethos and motivation in not just providing the finest range of walking holidays but also supporting a number of charities throughout the world.
This stunning new video spotlights the fact that as a non-profit organization the company offers outstanding choices for both established walkers and beginners to this type of holiday as well as serving the wider walking community in a variety of charitable ways.
The graded holidays span everything from the gentle strolls, a combination of cruising and walking or more challenging walks in glorious mountain ranges – Ramblers Worldwide Holidays can do it all!
“We share the same ethos” says Ramblers Worldwide Holidays Ambassador Julia Bradbury. “We’re passionate about people enjoying the great outdoors and enjoying it on a worldwide scale.”
Unlike many tour operators the company have their own Charitable Trust through which the profits are channelled back into a variety of outdoor, walking related or environmental conservation projects. These include the Youth Hostel Association, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the Ramblers, showing that the company’s efforts are acknowledged by everyone across the age range from youth to maturity.
Also, through their charitable initiative Heart & Sole, the company support projects in Morocco, Costa Rica, Cape Verde, Malawi, South Africa, India and St Lucia.
If you want to see how walking holidays are evolving in the 21st century with the world getting ever smaller, this video is well worth watching. It’s our world and by working together with Ramblers Worldwide Holidays we can make it even better.
