Ocean Beach Club

It’s probably a bit of a given that Ocean Beach will come in top in any round-up of Marbella’s best beach clubs, but it’s for good reason. Trust us.

Ocean Beach is 9,000 square meters of pure luxury in the city’s trendy marina district of Puerto Banus. A huge saltwater pool is the venue’s centre piece, with day beds and bars scattered around the edge each with beautiful views over the club and sea. From the spectacular food to the amazing views, unbeatable service and fabulous music, there are so many reasons why it’s guaranteed to fast become your favourite summer party space.

This month, we jetted off to the venue’s season Launch Party, and besides making us uncontrollably excited for the upcoming weather, it confirmed that Ocean Beach is the sea-front venue we’ll always return to. They’re officially open for summer.

Ocean Beach Club offers a starting rate of 135 euros for a small round day bed for a maximum of three people. This goes up to 975 euros for a Super VIP square bed for a maximum of 12 people. This price includes 3 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne and carries an additional spend of 1,500 euros.

La Plage by Casanis

This place might not be your stereotypical beach club (there’s no pool in sight), but it’s the perfect place for a party.

Primarily, it is the latest in the Casanis chain of restaurants, this time set right on the beach and serving (wonderfully) fine French-Belgian cuisine. The whole place boasts funky (very Instagrammable) décor and the customer service is second to none. Seriously – that wine glass will never be empty.

There is almost too much choice when it comes to the lunch menu, with an array of cold and hot starters on offer plus delicious sides and seriously good mains. We’d recommend the chicken Paella if you’re looking to get in the Spanish spirit. And the Calamari. And the burrata salad… we could go on.

Sundays are particularly great at La Plage, as their Sunday Sunset Rituals parties take place. From the guest DJs to the entertainment from saxophonists, drummers and violinists, there’s not a greater place for a party on the beach.

Visit www.laplagecasanis.com for more information. La Plage by Casanis offers beach beds from 15 euros per day. Price includes a bottle of water.

Nikki Beach Marbella

With clubs all around the world, Nikki Beach club is the best place to dine and relax in style. They pride themselves on combining the best of music, dining, entertainment, art and fashion into one, and on that? They totally deliver.

Sip on a mojito and get ordering the sushi as you sunbathe the day away with some of the best views along the coast. By day, expect a whole host of DJs playing chilled out tunes, and by night expect some of the biggest names in music. Make a booking… we dare you.

Amare Beach Club

The Amare Beach Club is a fun and unique space on the promenade in the centre of Marbella for enjoying sun, music, booze and great food.

Wooden walkways lead guests from the hotel and restaurant out to the sea, and spacious day beds are scattered either side. We’re huge fans of the “Push & Go” service at Amare, which allows you to order whatever you fancy from one of the waiters. Whether that’s an ice-cold glass or rose or a massage (yes, really), your wish is Amare’s command.

La Cabane Beach Club

La Cabane Beach Club offers a 5* VIP beach club experience, with a beautiful pool, white sun loungers and Balinese beds, plus direct access down to the sand.

The overall ambiance is exclusive, elegant and relaxed – the perfect combination.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a fabulous restaurant with an a la carte menu. That said, for the full La Cabane experience, we’d recommend trying their legendary Grand Buffet. It’s a sumptuous selection of more than 60 dishes, including paella, roasted meats, seafood and desserts. It’s available on Saturdays and Sundays for most of the year, and daily in August. Form an orderly queue.
