Finding ways to spend a Saturday in London has never been a challenge. But finding a bottomless brunch that earns the word ‘experience’ is another matter. The Dial, Meantime’s venue in Greenwich, has launched a new Saturday bottomless brunch in partnership with event specialists Love Brunch. Promised to kick off with a bite of calamari and wrap up with panoramic views of the London skyline, this brunch makes some big claims. I went along to see if it actually delivered.
What is The Dial x Love Brunch Bottomless Brunch?
Every Saturday, The Dial hosts one of Greenwich’s most talked-about bottomless sessions for the summer. For £59.99 per person, you get a two-course menu, 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, a resident DJ, and access to the venue’s rooftop after-party once the session wraps up. To tell you everything you need to know about the demand, the first bottomless brunch on its launch date of 9th May sold out before most people had even heard about it.
The format is simple: choose two starters, or one starter and a main, alongside bottomless cocktails, beers, or soft drinks from 12pm to 1:30pm, then the party moves upstairs.
The Food
The bottomless brunch menu leans into crowd-pleasing American comfort food – the usual, just elevated. Our table worked through the grilled halloumi, onion rings, and calamari, and all three were exactly what you want alongside flowing cocktails. There was enough variety to keep everyone happy.
The Grilled Halloumi comes as charred halloumi fries with tomato chutney, where the char is the key detail. The calamari is crispy and light with mayo and a hit of chilli. And the onion rings are exactly what onion rings should be: well-executed and gone quickly.
For mains, the Dial Burger and the Fried Chicken Burger both earned their place. The Dial Burger uses an aged Wagyu beef patty with American cheese, house burger sauce, and pickles in a potato bun, and it holds together well even after a round of Passion Fruit Martinis. The fried chicken burger features a buttermilk-brined chicken thigh with Japanese mayo, lettuce, and pickles. Both plates came served with chips, making them the perfect accompaniment to a pitcher of Margaritas.
The bottomless brunch menu also includes a Vegan Burger, a Classic NYC Dog, Cajun Chicken Tenders, Crispy Chicken Wings in four sauces, Padron Peppers, and a Beetroot and Goat’s Cheese Salad for anyone after something lighter. There is plenty of range here, which is genuinely not always the case at bottomless brunch events.
The Drinks
To me, a bottomless brunch is only complete if the drinks list is solid. And The Dial delivers. The bottomless selection covers the classics: Passion Fruit Martinis, Cosmopolitans, Margaritas, house wines (red, white, and rosé), Prosecco, Meantime’s own Anyday Lager, Peroni 0.0%, and soft drinks. The cocktails are well-made and arrive quickly – perhaps a little too quickly – which matters more than most venues seem to realise. It felt like we barely had time to breathe; a bottle of Prosecco landed on the table right after a pitcher of Cosmos, followed immediately by the Margaritas. It was a relentless conveyor belt of booze, but honestly, we weren’t complaining. The Cosmo, in particular, is well worth ordering more than once.
Ninety minutes of bottomless drinks is the standard window for any bottomless brunch, and while the service kept its pace throughout, the swift turnaround made it feel like three hours of pure fun. Nothing is watered down, and nobody is watching the clock on your behalf.
The Atmosphere
This is exactly where The Dial x Love Brunch separates itself from the sea of standard, paint-by-numbers bottomless brunches in the capital. Set inside a stunning, 360-degree panoramic glass rooftop with the London skyline and the O2 Arena acting as a dramatic backdrop, the venue trades quiet lunch vibes for a full-blown Saturday takeover.
The energy is electric from the jump. Love Brunch’s resident DJ was spinning from the moment we sat down, dropping a seamless stream of feel-good party tracks ranging from vocal house to good old RnB tracks. These bangers instantly lift the room without forcing you to shout over your table. By the time the mains arrive, the rooftop has a natural momentum to it that most venues spend years trying to manufacture and never quite manage.
The crowd was a brilliant, inclusive mix. While the glass-walled terrace was packed with squads rounding up for birthdays, hen dos, and much-needed catchups, the atmosphere felt entirely welcoming rather than exclusive. It’s loud, proud, and unapologetically celebratory, delivering the kind of high-energy daytime party that hits its peak long before the sun even sets over the southeast of London.
The Rooftop
I would say my favourite part of the whole brunch experience was moving upstairs to The Dial’s rooftop. Once the bottomless brunch session closes, the party lives on. Guests move upstairs to The Dial’s 360-degree rooftop bar, and this is genuinely the best part of the afternoon. The views across The O2 and London’s skyline remind people just how good this city can look on a clear day. The music continues, the drinks keep flowing, and the whole thing stretches naturally into the afternoon in a way that feels earned rather than forced.
The Bottom(less) Line
The Dial x Love Brunch is one of the most complete bottomless brunch experiences in London right now. The food is sumptuous, the drinks are well-run, the DJ sets the tone from the start, and the rooftop after-party gives the whole thing an arc that most bottomless brunches simply do not have.
