The House of Stuart : A New Concept In Style

Ian Stuart Blewcoat; the new, completely unique store,  opened last week in London.

The impressive Blewcoat building on Buckingham Palace Road/Caxton Street is a 300 year old, Grade I listed, National Trust building that has been lovingly and sympathetically renovated. Whilst maintaining all elements of the building’s rich history, Ian Stuart has successfully created a stunning, relaxed and modern ambience, reminiscent of the finest couture houses of Paris.

In true Ian Stuart style, this will be the incredible stage for his first retail store, launching a completely new collection, exclusive to London, of ready-to-wear occasion wear, evening wear, red carpet, and a small selection of bridal gowns to suit all ages and ceremonies.

The unique concept of the salon is to offer a beautiful collection of extra-special designs for women of all ages, for three generations. The new collection is for women who dare to be different, who want to find an exclusive outfit and be styled with beautiful accessories for a special event and shop in a relaxed and beautiful environment.

The theatrical setting offers an alternative experience for customers. This five star experience will include private consultations with in-store consultants, on-site tailoring to create the perfect fit, bespoke designs, salon style shows, special workshop evenings and personal consultations with Ian Stuart upon request; a luxury shopping experience from start to finish.

In our liberated times, women are getting married across all ages, partying at glamorous events from their teens into their nineties, and want to look fabulous while doing it – my store is a celebration of this.
