When you think of Sydney, you automatically think Harbour Bridge, The Opera House and Bondi Beach. However, once the iconic Aussie destinations have been ticked off the list, there are so many other great things to see, explore and do. Whether it’s one of the city’s museums, the fresh local food markets or a delicious place to dine, Sydney and its suburbs are full of fun!
Here at House of Coco we do love a good brunch spot, and if we have enjoyed some tasty grub at a new haunt then we have to tell you about it. Yep, that’s what we’re here for, you can thank us later.
If it’s yummy food, an amazing location and chilled out atmosphere you’re looking for then it’s all about Pool Café in Maroubra. Maroubra is a beachside suburb in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and home to one of Australia’s best surfing beaches. Pool café overlooks the sandy strip as well as a man-made rock pool that sits on the edge of the ocean – it is a divine as it sounds. The café is open 7 days a week from 9am – 3pm and boasts a great menu alive with variety – we enjoyed the corn fritters with bacon and a spicy relish, we instantly checked our diary so we can plan our next visit as soon as we greedily inhaled this delicious dish.
So whether you’re a Sydney local or on holiday, check out Pool cafe and its delicious breakfast and lunch menu – a great spot for an after-swim feed. Enjoy!
