If you have recently seen an ad for used SUV cars for sale in the UAE, it is a great time to consider the purchase of a new vehicle. We compiled a list, which is dominated by premium products, has some of the greatest family cars on the market — vehicles that can handle the daily run as well as inclement weather, somewhat rugged terrain, large purchases, towing tasks, and long-distance highway cruising.

Despite a lack of variation in appearance and approach on the part of many, it’s currently a pretty diversified category that has drawn a range of companies into the SUV fold. As manufacturers compete for a larger share of the more emissions-conscious fleet market, several models are now marketed as tax-friendly plug-in hybrids. Consumers also prioritize design, safety, and size, and capacity for seven people is often necessary. Here are a few of our top picks.

Volvo XC60

This car is still one of the most attractive family SUVs on the market today. The XC60 isn’t the most appealing vehicle to drive, but it has a lot to recommend as a sleek, comfortable, and easy-to-use family wagon. In addition, it is among the safest vehicles ever (evaluated by Euro NCAP). Volvo has also updated its engine lineup, with all XC60 models now including electrification. The ‘B’-series petrol and diesel vehicles now include a 48V mild-hybrid design enabling fractional fuel consumption and CO2 emissions reductions, while the Recharge plug-in hybrids (T6 and T8) provide the most low-cost operating possibilities. However, they do not have as much electric range as competitors.

Subaru Crosstrek

This compact SUV can go off the beaten path without breaking the budget. The Crosstrek boasts ample ground clearance (8.7 inches) and an all-wheel-drive system as standard to make off-roading a breeze. The basic Crosstrek comes with a 152-horsepower 2.0-liter boxer-four engine and a manual gearbox. However, the stick is the sole reason to continue with the underpowered entry-level engine; if you don’t mind not shifting by yourself, Subaru’s 182-hp 2.5-liter flat-four engine, as well as the optional hybrid model, make for a superior Crosstrek. Subaru didn’t make many modifications for 2022, but the design was revised last year, and the Subaru EyeSight active safety package became standard on automatic gearbox variants.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

This practical vehicle delivers smooth power delivery and 41 mpg in the city. In addition, the RAV4 Prime plug-in defies hybrid vehicles’ reputation for pokiness by being the most powerful and fastest RAV4 of them all. Even the basic RAV4 gets decent gas mileage, with a highway fuel efficiency of 38 mpg. All RAV4 Hybrids offer the same practical, well-thought-out interior as the conventionally powered vehicles, with big, easy-to-use, user-friendly knobs and a handy shelf forward of the front passenger. This year’s improvements include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, new entry-level customization, and much more.

Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta is a popular mid-size SUV, and this automobile provides everything you desire from a mid-size SUV. The Hyundai Creta, like other Hyundai cars, is equipped with all of the newest features. The Hyundai Creta, despite being a mid-size SUV, has a wide panoramic sunroof. Three engine options are available for the Hyundai Creta. The 1.5-liter diesel engine generates 113.45 horsepower, while the 1.5-liter petrol engine produces 113.18 horsepower. The 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 138.12 horsepower, is the most powerful of the bunch. All engines are available with a manual or automatic transmission; however, the 1.4-liter engine is only available with a 7-speed DCT transmission.

Chevrolet Suburban

The full-size, three-row Suburban, which has the world’s longest-running vehicle moniker, was completely remodelled last year and is now our favorite big-boy SUV. Its independent and adjustable rear suspension provides enhanced comfort. The regular 5.3-liter V-8 provides enough power, but a 6.2-liter V-8, as well as a diesel I-6, are also available. The Suburban can move the whole family as well as the home and almost everything in it, thanks to its 8,300-pound towing capacity and spacious cargo compartment and cabin. They are going to have a great time as the Interior is spacious, engines are quick, and the vehicle rides well thanks to the improved suspension.

Jeep Wrangler

There is no car brand more associated with going off the tourist trail than Jeep, and no Jeep model is more associated with off-roading than the Wrangler. It’s simple to build the Jeep Wrangler of your dreams straight off the sales floor, with V-6, diesel V-6, V-8, and 4xe plug-in hybrid power, as well as a wealth of choices and extras. Today’s Wrangler is also definitely the best, most technologically capable version ever manufactured, but nothing makes it happier than playing in the mud with one of its numerous optional four-wheel-drive systems. The range-topping, V-8-powered 392 variant is one of the greatest things on wheels if you have the cash.
