SRX Formula and Saima Rashid: Redefining Women’s Wellness

We’ve normalised feeling tired and emotional—as though it’s just part of being a woman, but most of us are running on empty. SRX Formula is about helping women put themselves first and feel good again.

For Saima Rashid, wellness isn’t a trend—it’s a mission. After two decades as a pharmacist, she witnessed first-hand how women’s health needs were often overlooked or dismissed. Tired of seeing patients (and herself) prescribed quick fixes for lingering issues like fatigue, mood swings, and hormonal imbalances, she set out to create something different.

The result is SRX Formula, a science-backed, 24-hour wellness system designed to support women the way they actually live. In this conversation, Saima shares her journey from pharmacist to founder, the challenges of building a brand rooted in clinical integrity, and why she believes every woman deserves to feel like herself again.

How SRX Formula Challenges the Traditional Wellness Industry

SRX Formula represents a fundamental shift in how wellness products address women’s health needs. Unlike conventional supplements that offer isolated solutions to complex problems, Saima Rashid’s science-backed system tackles the interconnected nature of hormonal balance, energy levels, mood stability, and skin health simultaneously. The pharmaceutical-grade approach—complete with therapeutic dosing and strategic timing across morning, evening, and hydration pouches—demonstrates what happens when clinical expertise meets genuine understanding of women’s lived experiences. This comprehensive methodology acknowledges that fatigue, mood swings, and hormonal imbalances aren’t separate issues requiring separate solutions, but rather symptoms of systemic depletion that demand coordinated nutritional support. By refusing to compromise on ingredient quality or dosing precision, SRX Formula establishes new standards for what women should expect from their wellness routines.

Why Women Deserve More Than Quick Fixes

The ultimate self care isn’t about temporary relief or aesthetic improvements alone—it’s about helping women reclaim their vitality from the ground up. Saima’s journey from dismissed patient to empowered founder mirrors countless women’s experiences of being gaslit by healthcare systems that normalize exhaustion and emotional instability as inherent to womanhood. SRX Formula directly challenges this narrative by providing the kind of targeted, evidence-based support that women have been systematically denied. The transformation stories—from sustained energy without caffeine dependence to visible skin improvements rivaling cosmetic procedures—validate what women have always known: given proper nutritional support, their bodies are capable of remarkable restoration. This isn’t wellness as luxury or indulgence; it’s recognition that feeling genuinely good should be every woman’s baseline, not her aspiration.

From Pharmacy to Empowerment

Saima, take us back to the start—what first drew you into pharmacology, and when did you realize this was your path?

I actually started out thinking I was going to become a doctor—I’d always been interested in medicine, even from a young age. But everything changed when I did my work experience in a local pharmacy. Being in that environment, seeing how pharmacists were directly supporting people day to day, helping them understand their treatments, and often catching things that others missed—it really opened my eyes. I actually didn’t realise what a pharmacist did until working in a pharmacy.

During your two decades in pharmacy, what did you observe about women’s wellness needs?

I noticed women were on antidepressants and iron tablets for years on end with no improvement in their symptoms. Most women had same complaints—low mood, low energy, difficulty in losing weight, mood swings, etc. I realized I needed to do something about this when I started experiencing the same issues.

I felt I was being gaslighted not only by the doctors but also fitness professionals. My bloods were normal, I was tracking food, I was lifting weights, but I still wasn’t feeling good. When expressing these concerns, I was quickly dismissed as though I didn’t know what I was talking about or that I was secretly not doing what I was saying.

And was that the moment you realised creating SRX Formula could be the answer—not just for you, but for so many other women?

To be honest, I knew it was worth it from the moment I had the idea and started formulating my product. Every woman I speak to can relate to how I was feeling. They too were suffering from same issues, and I know this is the solution they are looking for.

I want every woman to try the product just once to see the difference it makes. We all seem to think feeling tired and emotional is just the norm, but most women are running on empty. This is the ultimate self care, and SRX Formula is about women putting themselves first

From pharmacist to entrepreneur, what was the biggest hurdle of that whole transition?

Honestly, the biggest hurdle was learning how to sell. As a pharmacist, my role was always about educating, advising, and supporting patients—not selling a product. In fact, it almost felt uncomfortable, at first. I was so used to offering neutral, evidence-based guidance that the idea of promoting something—even something I truly believed in—felt foreign.

But I eventually reframed it. I realized that if I had created something that genuinely helps people, especially something I wish existed during my own journey, then sharing it isn’t selling—it’s serving. It’s just a different kind of patient care.

Once I made that mindset shift, everything changed. I wasn’t pushing a product; I was standing behind a purpose. Also, because I actually take my own product and have seen the difference it makes, I passionately believe in it and so I don’t feel uncomfortable about it. In fact, I want every woman to take it.

SRX Formula: Science-Backed, Not Buzzword-Backed

As you started developing SRX Formula, how important was clinical testing to you, given your background?

It was absolutely non-negotiable. Coming from a pharmacy background, I’ve been trained to look at everything through a clinical lens—ingredients, interactions, efficacy, safety. So when it came to developing SRX Formula, I couldn’t ignore that. I knew from the start that we weren’t just creating a wellness product—we were creating something that women would trust with their bodies every single day. That carries a huge responsibility.

Every ingredient in SRX was selected based on real clinical data. I didn’t want trends—I wanted what works. And beyond that, we formulated with therapeutic dosing in mind, not just sprinkling in ingredients for label appeal. It had to meet the same standards I would expect in a professional healthcare setting. That level of integrity wasn’t optional for me—it was the foundation.

How did you approach creating such comprehensive formulations for your supplements?

I approached it the same way I would approach patient care: holistically and with precision. I didn’t want SRX to be just another supplement with a long list of generic ingredients. I wanted every component to have a clear purpose—targeted, synergistic, and backed by science.

SRX Formula inside the box with the three supplements

I started by identifying the real gaps I saw every day in women’s health—energy, hormones, skin, mood, hydration. Then I looked at what the research said about addressing those issues effectively and safely. From there, it was about layering: choosing nutrients and compounds that not only work individually, but enhance each other when combined.

I also thought about timing—what the body needs in the morning vs. evening—and bioavailability. It wasn’t just about what goes in the formula, but how well the body can actually absorb and use it. That’s why SRX Formula is divided into morning, evening, and hydration pouches. It’s structured, purposeful, and rooted in real clinical logic.

In a way, it’s like writing a prescription—but one designed for daily support, not treatment. A formula that supports women the way they actually live.

What makes SRX Formula different from other wellness products out there?

SRX was built with clinical intention—something most wellness products are missing. As a pharmacist, I didn’t just want to create another supplement. I wanted to design a complete protocol that supports women in a real, practical, and effective way.

SRX has everything you need—at the right doses, and timed for optimal absorption. It’s structured into three daily pouches: morning, evening, and hydration—each one formulated to deliver nutrients when your body can actually use them. That means you’re not just taking supplements—you’re getting results.

No more guessing, no more juggling five different products. SRX simplifies your routine and covers all the core areas—energy, hormones, mood, skin, hydration—so you don’t need a cabinet full of pills. Just one protocol that works with your body, not against it.

It’s not just wellness—it’s smart, targeted, and made for her.

The SRX Impact: Transforming Women’s Wellness

Who’s your target customer for SRX Formula, and what have you been hearing from the women who’ve tried it?

SRX Formula is for the woman who does everything—but often puts herself last. She’s busy, driven, maybe juggling a career, a family, or both. She’s health-conscious, but tired of piecing together a wellness routine that never quite works. She wants to feel better—not just look better—and she’s done with guesswork.

What we’re hearing from women who’ve tried SRX has honestly been so affirming. They’re telling us, “I finally feel like myself again.” Energy is up, mood feels more stable, sleep improves, skin starts to glow—and maybe most importantly, they feel seen. They feel like someone actually thought about their whole life, not just one symptom.

That’s what SRX Formula is about. Supporting her in a real, meaningful, and sustainable way—every single day.

SRX Formula luxury box with the women it was designed for

Its been life changing for me. I was taking supplements previously to taking mine, and I was taking a majority of the supplements that are in my product, but separately. Since taking SRX Formula, it’s been life-changing. I no longer need my ten cups of tea (I’m a tea drinker, not coffee) to be able to function in the morning—I have more energy—and the most amazing thing I found was I finally started losing weight without trying too hard.

But the most impactful thing I noticed was my skin—I had started getting lines on my forehead, and I was considering getting Botox. Within two months of taking my supplement, my forehead was visibly smoother and my skin was glowing so I can hold off on the Botox for longer. Honestly, since taking SRX, it’s the best I’ve ever looked or felt.

What’s next for SRX Formula? Anything you’re really excited about?

I’m going to be raising investment so we can work on the advanced formula and scale up The SRX Formula. I’m both nervous and excited about this. The most difficult thing about a business is money—you need money to make money. Also, being a woman and a person of colour, the chances of me getting investment is statistically low, but I’m positive I will raise investment for my company, and I’m hoping this will be inspiration for other women to do the same.

If a friend was thinking about starting her own business, what would you tell her?

I would say go for it. Running a business is difficult, but if you’re passionate about what you do and believe in it, then it doesn’t feel like work. I think about SRX on my days off. It’s not a business for me; it’s something that I believe in so working on it doesn’t feel like work.

Off the Clock with Saima

SRX Formula founder Saima Rashid

When you’re not busy leading SRX Formula, how do you like to relax and recharge?

I love binge-watching TV series, going out for food with friends, and spa days. My favourite TV show is This is Us and Modern Family. Modern Family makes me laugh all time, and This is Us just reminds me of my own family and siblings.

I love going to the steam room and sauna after my gym session. I really enjoy the warmth, and I can really switch off in there as there’s nothing but you in the room—no devices and sometimes no people.

Our House of Coco readers are passionate travelers, always looking for a new adventure. Where’s your ultimate travel destination?

I love travelling and have been to many places, but on my to-visit list is Bora Bora. I recently went to Santorini and absolutely loved it—the people, the food, but mostly for the views. We hiked from Fira to Oia, and the views were to die for—literally felt like heaven on earth.

As Saima looks to scale SRX Formula and inspire a new era of women’s wellness, one thing is clear: this isn’t just about supplements—it’s about rewriting the narrative around self-care. Ready to see what SRX can do for you?
