Colours
If your last winter coat was pink, red or blue, then maybe it is time you put it away. The “I am coming out of confinement, and want to live the high life look,” has gone out of style. We are going back to a moderate, yet sensible look, especially in terms of colours. Women’s coat, this fall, will be created in the most conservative colours that we have seen, in a while. There will be lots of sand coloured material, as well as variations in brown. The same can be said about black, which will still be there, but mostly in various shades of grey. All and all, a very conservative year in terms of colours, which will definitely provide a rest for our sore eyes.
Length
It seems like what designers have chosen to do, for the next season, is to create a look that is a bit more dynamic, in terms of the length of the coats. Maybe it is also to compensate for the lack of bright colours. In the end, there are more coats and jackets that fall close or a little below the waist line than longer ones. That creates a better mobility for women that wear them. The restriction in length certainly doesn’t take away from the elegance of the coats, though.
