The UK is blessed with a whole host of magical wedding venues, and with lockdowns easing and the prospect of big, beautiful weddings making a comeback, plenty of couples choosing to remarry are busily trying to find the best venue for them. On average, venue hire was the greatest outgoing for UK couples according to the Hitched 2019 National Wedding Survey, so choosing the right one matters. To help, we’ve brought together some particularly special venues to provide inspiration of what’s out there.
What to check before remarrying
If you want to remarry you must also be legally able to, so be extra sure your divorce proceedings are in order before you wed. There are a number of different legal and financial matters you and a divorce solicitor will want to consider and go over with a fine-tooth comb to ensure that the your divorce is final, but once you have gone through all of these and agreed that remarriage is something that you want to do, it’s then time to decide on a budget, how many guests you want to invite (this will influence the size of the venue), and the sort of surroundings you want to be wed in. All that’s left then, is to find a venue!
