In line with their expansion plan – following the label’s launch in Hong Kong and China, and it’s debut showing at London Fashion Week in February – British brand Whistles has revealed it’s inaugural Menswear collection for Autumn Winter 2014.
The collection which will arrive in September, will be available to buy online, in key stores and premium department stores.
“There is considerable expansion in the contemporary middle market,” CEO Jane Shepherdson
Recognising the potential of the men’s contemporary middle market the brand has assembled a ‘high-calibre’ design team, working under creative director Nick Passmore. Together they have created a collection which ‘balances classic outerwear with high end knits,’ alongside smart jersey and ‘versatile tailoring.’ The pieces shown at the launch event demonstrate contemporary design and modern utility.
The line which has been in the planning since 2008 – when the then new CEO took over – contains oversized outerwear with plenty of shearling, classic knitwear in a variety of subdued but on trend colours, and plenty of statement pieces which will fit seamlessly in with your wardrobe.
Below are the pieces from the debut collection that we just can’t wait to get hold of
