Special Wimbledon screenings at Chez Antoinette
While Wimbledon is quintessentially British, the French know a thing or two about enjoying a crisp glass of wine al fresco, and that’s exactly what you can do while watching the match at French bistro Chez Antoinette. The restaurant will be screening every match live right on an outdoor screen outside its Victoria location, with deck-chair seating for up to 52 guests, creating a relaxed, match-day atmosphere. You can also enjoy strawberries-and-cream soft serves, Pimm’s Towers, and, ahem, magnums of Perrier-Jouet Champagne.

Best restaurants in Wimbledon
While it may be a hectic time of year in pretty Wimbledon, there’s no denying that the atmosphere is electric during the tournament – and if you can bag a table, you’re in for a real treat at one of these fabulous restaurants.
Table @ Vallebona, Wimbledon Village

An unusual, and completely irresistible, fusion of Italian and Japanese influences characterises this wine bar-meets-deli-meets-restaurant. Located on Wimbledon Village High Street in a Grade II, Victorian firehouse, diners can sit at the bar and make their way through a selection of dishes (if you’re lucky, you might even be talked through them by co-owner Naoko Vallebona herself), with menu highlights including Moxton’s smoked salmon, sprinkled with black sesame seeds, flatbread-style sourdough pizzas that are light and fresh, and jam-packed charcuterie and cheese boards that offer surprising flavours (nori tsukudani, a type of seaweed chutney, is our new favourite condiment).
