Chase & Status said; “We have an epic show lined up for Wireless 2016, which we‘ve been planning in secret for the last couple of months. It’s an honour to be performing in our hometown alongside some of the most exciting names in music and we’re looking forward to dropping one of our best sets yet.”

Main Stage

Multi-platinum, Grammy® nominated and award winning hip hop artist Big Sean will be bringing his recent U.S. number 1 album,  Dark Sky Paradise to the Wireless crowd this year. Big Sean collaborated with artists such as Kanye West, Drake, John Legend and fellow Wireless 2016 performer Ty Dolla Sign on the platinum selling album.

This year’s festival plays host to the grime scenes’ biggest artists today, as well as championing some of the best emerging talent around. From Newham in East London, Ghetts is notorious for his hard-hitting lyrics and intricate rhyme schemes, with his 2014 debut studio album rising to critical acclaim. South London rapper Fekky is one of the UK’s fastest rising grime artists and has released tracks with Dizzee Rascal and Skepta. His unique style has earned him famous fans and industry accolades and he has been pinned as one of the best emerging talents to watch out for this year. Grime MC Elf Kid scored widespread attention for his 2015 song Golden Boy and is best known as a member of Lewisham’s outfit, The Square. He’ll be joining the line up of impeccable British talent at Wireless this year.

Main Stage

Closing Sunday’s show is UK’s favourite grime collective Boy Better Know. Headed up by founders Jme and Skepta, the renowned BBK is best understood as a cultural movement in 2016. Die-hard Wireless fans will share an important moment in British musical history when BBK ‘shutdown’ the festival in July.
