The cost of living in a city usually means settling for smaller houses or apartments than our countryside cronies, and don’t even get me started on the garden situation. Gardens are a luxury when you live in a city and if you are lucky enough to have a teeny tiny outdoor oasis the chances are that you may only have space for one or two potted plants. Gone are the idyllic ideas of creating a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of the city with lush green foliage, flowers and veg…until now! Woolly Pocket have unveiled their brand new Living Wall Planter 2. This fabulous new vertical wall planter allows even the most spatially challenged to experience the joy of having a garden.
The new Living Wall Planter 2 is a modular, self-watering design made in the USA from durable 100% recycled milk jugs, so not only are we indulging our living spaces in greenery but we are also being eco-friendly whilst doing so! The milk jugs are also BPA free, which means it is safe for growing scrumptious organic edibles. The smooth, rounded shape of the planter hugs the wall via a hidden internal wall hook that attaches just about anywhere, indoors or out. If you are really lacking in space you can use them as table top planters. These are perfect for a novice gardener and hand watering is super easy as a self-watering reservoir conserves water and allows plants to drink longer between watering. For those of you who are brave enough or have the space for larger installations, an optional automatic irrigation drip line snaps right in!
The Living Wall Planter 2 is the third edition of vertical gardening containers from Woolly Pocket. Woolly Pocket first introduced Wally, a soft sided pocket in 2008, expanding the collection in 2012 to include the Living Wall Planter, and now the Living Wall Planter 2.
