Say what?!?! A alcohol wristband that will tell you when to stop drinking on a night out!
According to New York Magazine, this new device, BACtrack Skyn, contains a sensor that detects ethanol molecules, which your skin releases when you drink.
As we all know, when we are having a good time and drinks are flowing, our judgment can waiver of how drunk we are actually getting. So, when you’re out drinking, you can check the band to see an up-to-date reading of your blood alcohol concentration. You can also track how it’s changing over time. You can also program the band to send notifications when you’ve reached a certain BAC.
The device isn’t for sale yet, but you can sign up on the BACtrack Skyn Website to be one of the first to wear a band.
