London’s sustainable 58 Gin Distillery has developed a fresh mulled gin cider, using its premium award-winning 58 London Dry Gin as a base.

58 Mulled Gin Cider simply contains fresh cider, premium 58 Gin and warming spices including cinnamon, star anise, orange and nutmeg.

Eco-pouches of the mulled cider cost £10 from 58gin.com and contain four 250ml servings. When heated up to the recommended serving temperature of 60°C, 58 Mulled Gin Cider smells as good as it tastes, with its heady, spicy aroma. Once opened the cider will stay fresh for 48 hours.

Carmen O’Neal, Managing Director, 58 Gin says: “Spiced warming drinks are synonymous with Christmas and we wanted to offer our customers something different from the traditional mulled wine”.

“Apples and gin are a perfect flavour combination, the taste profiles work so well together and with the spices thrown in, this is a perfect all-natural winter warming treat you can enjoy while dancing to some Christmas jingles.”

58 Gin Distillery prides itself on its sustainable credentials. Foraged and surplus fruit is used to produce its gins, with botanical waste gifted to the local church garden. In lockdown, 58 Gin made nothing but hand sanitiser for the NHS, key workers, care homes and hospices.
