Here at House of Coco we love stationery, so when we stumbled across The Friendly Paper Co, we were instantly obsessed! Founded by Emma during the pandemic, the business is going from strength to strength, despite launching in turbulent times, which is a testament to the type of woman she is.

We spent some time with her to find out more about her plans to expand in the US, what self care means to her and we got some insight in to her travel bucket list. Read on to find out more…

Tell us about the journey that lead you to launching your brand The Friendly Paper Co…

Like a lot of great businesses, launching The Friendly Paper Co was a bit of an accident. I’d spent a few years as a freelance branding designer and to be honest, I had completely lost my passion for it. As a wedding gift to two of my closest friends, I designed their invitations, seeing their reaction and the creativity involved in designing all aspects of wedding stationery, it really triggered my love for design again.

After losing the majority of my client base due to the pandemic and suddenly having a LOT of free time, I decided to use it to my advantage and I spent most days designing products, setting up Etsy and growing my social media presence. A lot of people probably thought launching an events based business during a global pandemic was slightly mad, however I had a hunch that when weddings were allowed again, business would be booming…thankfully I wasn’t wrong!

Currently you do wedding stationery but do you have plans to branch out into other areas?

There are definitely a lot of plans in the pipeline for branching out into other areas. I’ve done a lot of custom work for birthdays, christenings and even office parties so I’m really looking forward to exploring those sectors. Recently, I did a pet party which is a really interesting avenue! So watch this space.

Starting a business during lockdown wasn’t easy for anyone. What was the biggest struggle you faced?

The biggest struggle was definitely the fact that weddings and events just weren’t happening! Pouring time and love into something with not much reward for a year and half was a little bit disheartening, however without having all that free time, I don’t think the business would be as successful as it is today. It was hard to keep motivated at times but you have to continue to work towards your goals and focus on the bigger picture.

Looking back since launching the brand, is there anything you would do differently?

I actually think I should’ve designed even more products at the beginning because now I absolutely don’t have the time! One of my goals for 2022 was to keep uploading fresh designs each week and growing the product catalogue but it is proving difficult with all the projects I have going on.

Talk us through an average day in your life…

My day starts at 5am with making the bed, some exercise, shower and breakfast. I will then set out the tasks for the day and head out for a walk to get some fresh air before beginning the work day.

Throughout the day I listen to podcasts, make sure I am engaging with my audience on social media and at the end of the day sit on my sofa with a turmeric latte and debrief the day in my head.

More recently, I’ve been trying to make sure that I have regular breaks during the day as I feel more productive coming back to the screen with fresh eyes. I always make sure I give myself plenty of time to eat too so that I am well fuelled.

What do you do when you are lacking creativity?

The most important thing for me when lacking creativity is to remove myself from the office for a bit and just clear my mind of all things wedding and design, even if it’s just for 30 minutes. Sometimes you just need to take yourself out of the work environment to recharge and declutter your mind. Even squeezing in a quick 20 minute HIIT workout can help to get those endorphins going! I definitely believe exercising first thing in the morning (even if it is a struggle some days) is how I manage to remain incredibly productive throughout the day.

How much has social media played a role in the success of your brand?

Social media has played a huge role in the development of the brand as it was all I could really rely on initially to build a following as I didn’t have any sales coming in. I spent a lot of time during the pandemic engaging with brides to be, wedding venues and wedding planners and many have become repeat customers which I am so grateful for. The work I do is so visual so Instagram and Pinterest have been invaluable platforms for the business.

Although I don’t have thousands and thousands of followers yet, the ones I do have are high quality and always engage with the brand. The online wedding community is a really lovely place to be!

What is your go-to quote when lacking motivation?

I have a couple of go to quotes actually! The first is “dreams don’t work unless you do”. It keeps me disciplined and focused. At the end of the day the success of The Friendly Paper Co. rests on my shoulders and the amount of effort I put in.

The second is “old ways don’t open new doors”. This one is especially helpful when I feel stuck in a creative rut and it reminds me to innovate, think outside the box and if something isn’t quite working then it inspires me to find a new way!

Our readers love to travel, what destination is on your must visit list?

100% Marrakech. It has always been a dream to stay in a beautiful Riad, spend hours wandering the Medina and eating and learning about all the delicious Moroccan food. For as long as I can remember I have been captivated by the architecture, colours/tones, patterned tiles and cuisine of this beautiful country and I cannot wait to visit!

What does self care mean to you?

To me, self care means nourishment. Cooking and nutrition is a huge passion of mine and I love to spend an hour or so rustling up something healthy and delicious in the kitchen. I am a firm believer that you get out what you put in and I know fuelling my body with the right food provides me with the energy to excel in all areas of my life.

Where do you see the brand in the next 5 years?

I’m at a bit of an exciting stage at the moment as I’m just launching the business into the U.S! I’m opening a base in Los Angeles with my U.S business partner who lives in West Hollywood. She is extremely passionate about the brand so I’m delighted to have her on board. The wedding market in the States is so huge especially in California where they have year long sunshine and stunning diverse scenery. We’ve actually just been invited by @belledejour_floral on a styled shoot in Hawaii at the end of April which will be incredible!

The aim is to provide a full print service in many countries just like I do in the U.K because it really alleviates a lot of the stress for customers when somebody just takes care of everything for you rather than having to spend precious wedding planning time hunting for a print shop.

If you made your personal list of the appliances you cannot live without, how long would it take? Before you could even come up with the list, let us start with the question, how much do you really use any of these? Then you will have your list slowly cleared up. It is true that there is something you cannot even start your days without, such as an alarm clock, toothbrush, or shower. But there are some things you barely lay your finger upon such as a DVD player. Despite the fast tempo of modern living, with all the challenges, sometimes we get to overload our living spaces with devices whose purpose we barely identify. So, in this line, we made a shortlist of the devices we could barely live without.

The Washing Machine

If you are wearing clothes, common sense is the need to wash them and it is where the idea for building the washing machine originates from. Thousands of years from now, people used to wash their clothes by beating them on the stone in the middle of the river or spring near the house. Before the washing machine we know was invented, there were manual prototypes of the washing machines known as agitators. It was basically a tube where the dirty clothes were put and washed with the help of paddles treating the clothes and removing the debris. On the other hand, a modern washing machine uses a two-drum principle to wash the clothes. The inner drum holds the clothes near the agitator and the outer drum holds the water in the machine. The two-drum system is responsible for giving your clothes freshness and cleanness.

Kitchen Appliances

No matter if these are small or big devices, their role in our lives is immense. You can practically not cook without a stove, everything delicious already comes from the oven, you will never be able to deep fry once you try to fry chicken from the air fryer, you cannot make the dishes demanding specific measures without scales and measuring equipment, and what can give you speed as the microwave does. And, this is just the beginning. Let us start from the top, from the place where we store all the groceries-fridge. Besides the fact that this is the first thing we remember when we awake in the middle of the night, our living will be practically impossible without a big cold box. You would not have a place to store any of your food and keep it fresh and eggs, cheese, milk, butter, and meat are not really the fans of being left at the places exposed to microbes and warm places. These will spoil in no time. If you take an even broader image, there are some types of food that barely survive the path from the market to your home, and being let out of the fridge will lead to their utter spoiling. So, we add refrigerators to our list of essential devices.

Air Conditioning

We get to understand the importance of air conditioning during the summer when the heatwave hits hard. Some alternatives to this highly important home appliance are stationary fans and traditional ways such as draft. However, this can hardly help you stay cool during the summer season since these are just temporary solutions while air conditioning uses the technology of keeping the space cool for a longer time span. Also, this is not the only benefit of air conditioning since some people decide to get an air conditioner with multiple functions including heating as well. In cities, the most efficient approach for residences that are not linked to the town heating system is to utilize these devices to keep their rooms warm and adjust the temperature. When the production of these appliances started, in the initial phase, they were extremely expensive. After they were introduced to commercial production, the price of these systems started to decrease and today, because of their availability and use, these became one of the most used home appliances.

There are some inventions that made our world different and most certainly some of them are responsible for our efficient living nowadays. Truth to be said, sometimes we get to be addicted to piling these up without even using them, however, this is all the consequence of busy living and us orienting our lives towards quicker and more efficient dealing with the problems of the modern world. The main aim of appliances is to make our living easier but sometimes we should not tend to oversimplify it.

Horse racing is a sport which is popular all over the world, particularly on the Flat, where thoroughbreds are bred for excellence.

Whether you are interested in traveling to some of the leading meetings in the sport or aiming to own a horse one day, here are the three most prestigious Flat races around the globe.

Breeders’ Cup Classic

The Breeders’ Cup Meeting in North America is considered to be the World Championship in the sport. This meeting takes place annually in November and the venue switches from year to year.

The feature race at the two-day meeting is the Breeders’ Cup Classic. It attracts the best middle-distance dirt horses from all the leading countries. It was won in 2021 by Knicks Go at Del Mar in California.

This year’s meeting will take place at Keeneland in Kentucky, one of the leading racecourses in the USA. Pegasus World Cup winner Life Is Good is the +600 favorite in the betting on horse racing online for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Classic.

The Breeders’ Cup Classic is the fourth leg of the Grand Slam of Thoroughbred racing. It follows the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. Only one horse in history has won all four races, that was American Pharoah in 2015, winning the latter at Keeneland.

Derby

The Derby is the most prestigious Classic in the UK. It is only open to three-year-olds, so it is a race which sees the leading thoroughbreds from that age group square off every year. It takes place at Epsom Down in Surrey, a racecourse which offers a unique test with undulations across the track.

This race dates all the way back to 1780. The winner usually goes on to feature in many of the leading middle-distance races against older horses later in the campaign. It is also the second leg of the Triple Crown where it is sandwiched in between the 2000 Guineas and St Leger.

This event in June is as much about fashion as it is racing. There are a number of ‘best turned out’ awards across the day, while there are also hospitality areas with a stricter dress code.

Melbourne Cup

Known as the ‘race which stops a nation’, the Melbourne Cup is a huge event in Australia. It is held on the first Tuesday in November, and it is part of the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival.

The Melbourne Cup is the richest two-mile handicap contest in the world. It now attracts more international horses. In 2017 and 2020 it was won by Irish-trained horses Rekindling and Twilight Payment respectively. There have also been entries from Japan and New Zealand.

Like the Derby, this meeting is also a big fashion event. The official dress code is ‘big, bright and bold’. This reflects everything about the meeting which takes place in the summer in Victoria.

If you are planning to visit any of the three above meetings in the near future, have a great time and hopefully it is an experience you will never forget.

All businesses should have their website and social media profiles but often neglect to create an attractive advertisement. Creating a commercial poster can be tedious and time-consuming work for a graphic designer if you only need a few copies made of your design. If it isn’t done professionally, then the result may come out pixelated or blurry when printed out on paper. Some websites offer free poster templates that are accessible to everyone and easy to use, like Venngage’s poster maker.

If you’re wondering how an online poster maker can benefit your food business signage then look no further:

1. Create eye-catching food posters to promote your products with an online poster maker

Let’s face it; the food you serve will ultimately determine your success. That said, you should wrap all your dishes in attractive packaging that can entice potential customers to buy them.

Creating posters for your products is the first step towards promoting your brand and gaining more clientele. Your food specials or weekly menu can be printed on a poster for guests to see when they sit down at their tables. There are lots of great website templates available online, which means you won’t have to design one yourself if time is an issue.

Another option would be uploading images of your mouth-watering dishes onto an online poster maker like Venngage, which has free readymade templates for users to customize with style and flair! The best part is, you can easily create an eye-catching food poster for your products in minutes by simply selecting a template.

2. Design flyers for special events or promotions with a free poster maker

Having a poster maker on hand during special events will save you time and money. Let’s face it, trying to create flyers from scratch can be a pain if you don’t have the right tools or the skills to use them.

Venngage has a free poster maker designed for anyone to use – not just graphic designers – so designing an event poster is as easy as drag and drop! Whether you want a flyer layout or a vertical template, Venngage has templates available for all occasions. Try having your staff members make a day-by-day itinerary for visitors to post around the venue in advance of your events starting. This way, it’ll save both time and money since these posters need reprinting over and over again.

3. Create custom menus for your restaurant using a poster maker

Customers who visit your restaurant will be impressed if they spot a professionally designed food menu that’s easy to read and understand. Making your custom menus can take hours upon hours of hard work, so it’s best to outsource this job to a poster maker.

Poster makers have templates for all types of designs such as vertical, horizontal, and even infographic options! It doesn’t matter what type of cuisine you serve; these designers’ readymade templates automatically adapt to suit your needs.

Venngage

4. Make signage to hang in your store or cafe on a poster-making website like Venngage

Printed signage is an excellent way to inform customers of the specials being served that day or visually promote any events you have planned. These can be printed out on large pieces of paper and hung up for all guests to see.

There are free poster maker websites available online, so creating your signs shouldn’t be too difficult. The graphic designer can simply upload your desired images to their website which creates a custom template for you to customize with text, logos, color schemes, etc. This customized sign will save both time and money in the long run since it only needs reprinting once the event ends or the supply has been sold out!

5. Generate marketing materials for social media campaigns with a poster maker

A poster maker allows you to create a variety of marketing materials for your business. For example, you can create custom memes for social media. Instead of hiring a professional designer, why not have your staff members put together their unique designs with the free templates available online? Since they’re familiar with what’s happening at your company and the type of audience you cater to, it won’t take long before they come up with some pretty creative designs that’ll make your company be unique from other competitors

6. Produce advertising materials for print publications with an online poster maker

Adding visual elements to your print ads is a great way to enhance the overall look of your advertisement. Because let’s face it, when it comes to advertisements, text alone doesn’t always do all that much in terms of grabbing people’s attention.

These designers can create eye-catching templates in any size you desire depending on whether you need them for newspaper ads, booklets, or billboards. The best part? These readymade templates are free!

Venngage

7. Make sure your website is consistent with your branding by using the same fonts and colors in your online posters

Finally, you can use a poster maker to create custom infographics for your website. The designer will take the relevant data and statistics about your business and design an infographic to suit your needs. These days, digitalization has made it easier than ever to incorporate infographics into company websites but many businesses still prefer using professionally designed ones since they’re more effective than basic photos and text.

Conclusion:

By using a poster maker website, you’ll be able to save both time and money since these tools are free. If you’re an entrepreneur running a startup or small-scale business, then this option might be right for you!

Ready-made templates can take the headache out of creative work, especially if no one on your team has any experience creating marketing materials. So what are you waiting for? Try uploading your images to a poster maker site like Venngage today!

It’s never too late to give your home a makeover and spruce up your space. Adding these helpful tips will help you create the type of atmosphere that you desire in your home. Here are some things that you can do: update your floors, decorate with colors, put up plants for greenery, and use lighting to highlight hidden areas and vignettes to add character!

Update Your Flooring

One way to make an immediate impact on your home is to update your flooring. This can be a big project, but it’s worth it in the end! There are so many different types of flooring on the market, so you’re sure to find something that fits both your style and budget. If you’re not ready for a complete overhaul, then consider adding an area rug or two to inject some new life into your space. You can achieve the most modern flooring with MSI surface improvements. A stylish floor will have a big impact on the overall look of your home.

Decorate With Colors

Another way to make your home look amazing is to decorate with colors. You can use color to create different moods in your space. For example, if you want a room to feel cozy and intimate, then you would want to use warm colors like red or orange. If you want a room to feel more spacious and airy, then you would want to use cool colors like blue or green. And if you want a room to feel cheerful and inviting, then you would want to use bright colors like yellow or pink. No matter what mood you’re trying to create, there’s a color that will help you achieve it!

Put Up Plants for Greenery

Adding plants to your home is a great way to inject some life into your space. Plants not only look great, but they also purify the air and can boost your mood. If you don’t have a green thumb, then consider getting some easy-to-care-for plants like succulents or cacti. Or if you want something that will last a bit longer, then get a potted plant that you can keep inside. No matter what type of plant you choose, it’s sure to make your home look more stylish and amazing. Some of the best indoor plants include:

  • Snake Plant: A snake plant is a great option for those who want an easy-to-care-for plant. It doesn’t need much light or water, and it can tolerate a wide range of temperatures.
  • Zebra Plant: The zebra plant is another great option for those who are looking for an easy-to-care-for plant. It’s succulent, so it doesn’t need much water, and it can tolerate low light conditions.
  • Pothos: Pothos is a great plant for those who want something that will last a long time. It’s an evergreen, so it will keep its leaves year-round.
  • Philodendron: Philodendron is another great plant for those who want something that will last a long time. It’s an evergreen, so it will keep its leaves year-round.

Use Lighting to Highlight Hidden Areas

If you have any hidden areas in your home that you want to highlight, then use lighting to do so! You can use spotlights to highlight artwork or architectural features. You can use string lights to create a cozy and inviting ambiance. Or you can use track lighting to brighten up a dark corner. Lighting is a great way to add both style and function to your home. LED lighting is a great option because it’s energy-efficient and long-lasting. LED lights come in a variety of colors and styles, so you’re sure to find the perfect option for your home.

Vignettes to Add Character

One final way to make your home look amazing is to add character with vignettes. A vignette is a small grouping of items that creates a certain mood or look. For example, you could create a beach-themed vignette by adding some sand, shells, and starfish to a bowl. Or you could create a cozy vignette by adding some candles, blankets, and pillows to a shelf. Vignettes are a great way to add your personal touch to your home. Additionally, they’re a great way to change up your space without having to do a lot of work!

So there you have it! These are just a few of the many ways that you can make your home look more stylish and amazing. Update your floors, decorate with colors, put up plants for greenery, use lighting to highlight hidden areas, and add character with vignettes. All of these things will help you create the type of atmosphere that you desire in your home.

Swimming, camping, and skiing all seem to be given outdoor activities to do as a family. However, we often don’t have enough time to plan whole camping or beach trips.

Play Eat Grow recommends a bunch of activities that won’t need a more extended leave from work, but we’ve also come up with a short list below of outdoor activities you can also enjoy as a family:

  1. Go Biking

Besides just fun and exercise, biking is also a pretty handy life skill that kids will eventually need to learn.

If you don’t know how to bike, then this can be an even more interactive family activity that gets everyone involved. There are numerous advantages to cycling with your kids, not just for them but also for you, which you can learn more about by reading Beginner’s Guide to Cycling with Kids.

If you’re all bike-ready, take a drive around the neighborhood or choose a destination you can all get to.

This doesn’t just give everyone a healthy adventure, but it can also be a perfect way to bond, build communication, and simply relish each other’s presence.

  1. Visit an Aquarium

If your love for the ocean can’t be fulfilled as it might take more time to visit the nearest beach, then a nearby aquarium might just suffice.

Take your kids with you to visit one and get them to learn about marine life.

  1. Play Giant Board Games

If your kids enjoy board games at home, then they’ll surely love giant outdoor board games like the Jumbo Connect-4, which you can bring with you to a park or even your own backyard.

This is a great way to elevate board game afternoons and add to the fun.

  1. Join a Clean-Up Drive

Fun can also be fundamental. You can check out scheduled clean-up drives within your area and sign up for one that you and the whole family can participate in.

Clean-up drives won’t just give the whole family something to do outdoors, but more importantly, it is a chance to engage the entire family into awareness and action about the world around us.

We gain better awareness about the big and small things we can do individually-but more powerfully as a collective to address the climate crisis when we rethink what the environment means, or change from the image of nature towards practically everything that surrounds us.

  1. Have a Picnic

A picnic is a lovely excuse to go offline and take a breather.

You can pack your snacks and drinks, a book to enjoy reading in the park, a frisbee for the kids to play with, and even bring your pet with you to have a quick run.

It’s also a tried and tested activity that isn’t just fun but can also deepen your family time together on the kids picnic table.

  1. Have Fun in the Dark

Outdoor activities can be taken to another level of fun with glow-in-the-dark or LED-powered games.

The kids will certainly enjoy playing capture the flag or bocce on your lawn at night, especially if their energy is still high.

  1. Visit an Animal Shelter

More than visiting zoos, visiting and volunteering to help out the nearest animal shelter can be a great time for the whole family.

This teaches kids that animals aren’t just cute but that they also need commitment for care.

Additionally, this prepares them to rethink humane ways of caring for pets and animals, as well as the responsibilities that come with adopting stray animals.

  1. Participate in a Donation Drive for Old Toys

Cleaning up the house and helping others can be a family activity that can happen at the same time.

By organizing a donation drive for old toys, you can get your kids to pack up their old toys, ones that are still in good condition but that they aren’t playing with much anymore, and bring them to the nearest collection center for recycling.

This teaches them the principle of giving things that are still good, teaching them as well to avoid hoarding, and that fun can be shared even indirectly by their generosity.

  1. Have Some Ice Cream

Though you can always have ice cream at home, taking a break from the indoors to enjoy a scoop or two in a nearby salon wouldn’t hurt, too.

Take them out to a nearby ice cream parlor and treat them to a flavor that they might find interesting and new.

Go offline and catch up with each other. A visit to an ice cream parlor is always a sweet time for both children and adults, anyway.

  1. 10.Enjoy a Drive-In Movie

Wanting to visit the cinema, but not all of your children are already vaccinated?

Scared of exposing them to crowds for that risk? Worry not; drive-in or drive-by theaters are still a thing of today!

Look for one that you and the whole family can visit and take streaming a movie or cinema visit to a different level that brings both the movies and safety within the confines of your own car.

Choosing your university and course is a big decision, and one that might affect your future career and the rest of your life. Before you start exploring specific courses that are offered by different universities, it’s a good idea to start with the general subject you are interested in or want to study. For some people, this might be an easy decision and pretty clear, especially if you have made up your mind when it comes to the career that you want to get into in the future. But for others, it might not be such an easy decision. With so many university courses to choose from it can quickly get overwhelming. Here are some questions to ask to help you decide on the right course for you.

Is the Subject One You Have Already Studied?

When it comes to finding uni courses and deciding which one you want to do for your university degree, there are going to be options for courses in subjects you might be familiar with already, and some that are new to you. When you are trying to find a course you like and exploring courses at university to possibly apply to, one of the best things to ask is whether or not you want to continue studying a subject you are studying at A-level or equivalent right now, or have studied and enjoyed in the past. Be honest with yourself and consider if you are interested enough in the subject to study it for a further three to four years and find out how it might differ at university compared to A-levels or GCSE. Check out the courses Stirling University offer to find university courses Scotland in subjects that you like. Stirling University offer a wide range of undergraduate courses in subject areas that you may already be familiar with including history, biology, English, business studies, and more.

Do You Have a Specific Career Idea in Mind?

Some people go to university with a specific future career in mind, and if this sounds like you then your career aspirations may be what drives your choice of degree subject. Perhaps you’ve recently done work experience in an industry that you weren’t aware of before and really enjoyed it. Or maybe you have wanted to be a nurse, a teacher, or a journalist for as long as you can remember. Consider how the subject you want to study at university is viewed by the industry that you want to work in. For example, if you want to become a journalist, you can get into this role with lots of different degrees. On the other hand, if nursing is your career goal, you will usually need to get a degree in nursing. Consider how much work experience you have and if you have enough to determine if this is really the right career for you. It’s a good idea to try and get some more work experience before you make your final decision as jobs can often be quite different in real life compared to what you see in the media.

Do You Want to Learn Something New?

University also gives you the chance to learn something new and get into a subject that you have never studied before. You do not always have to have A-levels in the same subject to get into a university degree in a specific subject. For example, perhaps you have recently gotten an interest in psychology or philosophy but did not study these subjects at A-level. You should still be able to get onto the university degree of your choice provided that you meet the minimum number of UCAS Tariff points required by the university. If this sounds like you, then do plenty of research to make sure that the subject is what you expect it to be. Speak to a careers advisor, do some online research, and spend some time going through the course modules in detail to make sure that this course is going to match your expectations once you get started.

Choosing the Right Course

Once you have a better idea of the general subject that you want to study at university, whether it’s something you’ve done before, something new, or something that you are going to need to get into your chosen career path, the next step is to see what courses are on offer in your subject. There are often courses that you can choose to get into a specific field or specialty area. For example, if you are interested in biology, you might want to do marine biology, or animal biology if you are more interested in these areas than others. Remember that courses with the same name might be very different based on the university you attend, and that your choice of course might have an impact on the number of universities that are available for you to apply to.

Choosing the right university course for you is often one of the biggest decisions you’ll make about your career. Keep these tips in mind to find the course that is the ideal fit for you and your goals.

Making small changes in your everyday life can have a big impact on the environment. If every person made a few simple changes, it would make a huge difference! In this blog post, we will discuss eight ways that can help you start living a more eco-friendly life. These tips are easy to follow and will help reduce your carbon footprint without making too many sacrifices. Let’s get started!

Here is the list of things you can do to start living a more eco-friendly life:

  • Save energy
  • Eat less meat
  • Use reusable alternatives
  • Go paperless
  • Use renewable energy
  • Recycle and reuse
  • Grow your own produce
  • Donate unused items

Saving energy

One of the best ways that you can start living an eco-friendly life is by saving energy. This can be done in a number of different ways, but one of the most effective is through mounted solar panels. Solar panels work by converting sunlight into electrical energy, which can then be used to power your home or office. Not only is this a renewable source of energy, but it can also help you save money on your energy bill each month. Other ways to save energy include using LED light bulbs, unplugging electronics when they’re not in use, and turning off lights when you leave a room.

Eat less meat

If you’re looking to start living an eco-friendly life, one of the best things you can do is eat less meat. Meat production is a leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions, so by eating less meat (or no meat at all), you can help reduce your carbon footprint. There are a number of delicious vegetarian and vegan recipes available online, so you’ll never get bored with your new diet. Not only is this better for the environment, but it’s also better for your health!

Use reusable alternatives

One way to start living an eco-friendly life is to use reusable alternatives instead of disposable items. For example, instead of using paper towels, invest in some good-quality cloth towels that can be washed and reused. This also goes for things like shopping bags, water bottles, and coffee cups. There are a number of reusable options available on the market, so you’re sure to find something that suits your needs.

Go paperless

Another way to start living an eco-friendly life is to go paperless as much as possible. This means using digital documents instead of paper ones whenever possible. Not only does this save trees, but it’s also more convenient and easier to store digital documents. You can use cloud storage or an external hard drive to store your files, and you can access them from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

Use renewable energy

If you’re looking for ways to live an eco-friendly life, one of the best things you can do is use renewable energy. This can be in the form of solar, wind, or hydropower. Not only is this better for the environment, but it’s also more sustainable in the long run. You can find a number of different Renewable Energy providers in your area and switch to them for your power needs.

Recycle and reuse

One of the most important things you can do to start living an eco-friendly life is to recycle and reuse as much as possible. This means recycling materials such as glass, paper, plastic, and metal. It also means reusing items instead of throwing them away. For example, you can use an old shirt as a dust cloth, or you can turn an old pair of jeans into a cute pair of shorts. There are a number of ways to recycle and reuse, so get creative!

Grow your own produce

Another great way to start living an eco-friendly life is to grow your own produce. This way, you know exactly what’s going into your food and you can be sure that it’s organic. Not to mention, it’s really satisfying to eat something that you grew yourself! If you don’t have a green thumb, you can always start small with some herbs or tomatoes.

Donate unused items

If you’re looking to live an eco-friendly life, one of the best things you can do is donate unused items. This keeps them out of landfills and gives someone else a chance to use them. You can donate clothes, furniture, toys, books, and more. There are a number of charities that accept donations, so find one that’s close to your heart and start giving!
