Here at House of Coco we love to champion brands that are challenging the world of fast fashion and Waring Brooke is one of them. A proudly British brand, Waring Brooke was founded by Samantha Brooke. After years of styling commercial jobs with international designers, Samantha became disheartened with mass production and the increasing damaging impact on the environment.Growing up in a family involved with recyclable energy, she has always been very aware of waste and carbon footprint, so being able to join her love of fashion and ethics made total sense.

Samantha produces everything at her knitting studio in Nottingham in a responsible way, she washes and presses pieces by hand to bring out the natural softness in the wool. The mix of traditional and contemporary designs will still look great in 10 years and the playful patterns, sleek designs and earthy colours inspired by the outdoors reflect a spirit of adventure just like its creator.

Since launching the brand, she has revelled in success and carved her path in the world of knitting. Here, we chatted to Samantha to find out more…

Tell us about the journey that lead you to launching Waring Brooke…
I started out my career in Italy working for Alberta Ferretti after she spotted me at graduate fashion week in London. I worked in Italy for a year, and returning to England, started work for Max Studio where I was surrounded by fast fashion and the waste it creates. This upset me by the destruction it was doing to the planet, and I thought to myself, we surely do not need ALL these clothes!? So I made a plan to develop a British made knitwear brand, inspired by the countryside and worn by the people in it. We bought a STOLL knitting machine which I learnt to programme. This opened up a whole new world of possibilities to me as a designer. Instead of spending money on stock that may not sell, I was able to make anything I wanted, and make it to order so there is zero waste. It also enabled me to create the personalised accessories which are totally unique.

You’re passionate about the move away from fast fashion, can you tell us more about how you will aid this?
I make quality pieces from biodegradable yarns, that the wearer will (hopefully) love and cherish for years to come. I keep the waste to an absolute minimum and reuse yarn wherever I possibly can. My personalised items are made to order, so there is no excess stock and yarn does not go to waste.

What is your mission with the brand?
I would love for Waring Brooke to be known as the innovative country knitwear brand that you come to for its quality products. To keep making products that people love and cherish for years and years to come.

How do you want people to feel when they wear your clothes?
I want people to feel like they are wearing a quality premium product that they love and love to wear.

Also, being a woman, I know that wearing something your proud of makes you feel confident and comfortable. I generally design for myself, when I design something that I feel confident and a million dollars in, I know others will too.

What are your plans for the brand in 2020?
I plan expand the range of women’s dresses and personalised accessories and grow an online presence.

Who’s your dream customer?
Kate Middleton

Outside of the brand, what do you do for fun?
SUP and Yoga, and sometimes combine the two ? . Also, when I can I love ride my friends horses.

Looking back, since launching the brand, is there anything you would do differently?
I’d be less stressed and look after myself more. Sometimes having a business, it comes first then you come second. It should ALWAYS be – take care of yourself then work.

Our readers love to travel, what destination is at the top of your bucket list?
I was talking about this with my boyfriend recently. It is ironic, I am a sun seeker, but Iceland is on my bucket list to see he northern lights. The pictures look amazing and almost unbelievable.

What does self care mean to you?
Taking time to do what you want. Even if its getting into the office and making myself a drink before I start my day. My needs and health come first before any work.

For any aspiring entrepreneurs wanting to launch in the fashion industry, what advice would you offer?
Do you research then plan, then watch it not to go to plan. Jokes aside, it’s an incredible journey and if you’re serious about it (because there will be times when you want to pack it in) just never give up.

Here at House of Coco, we’re all about ticking off our bucket list, and the Northern Lights has to be right at the top. Who doesn’t dream of cosying up in a glass igloo, gazing up at that spellbinding cosmic show? Experience the magic firsthand as you sleep under the northern lights and create unforgettable memories under the dancing auroras.

While 2019 might be a year of ‘solar minimum’, where Aurora-causing sunspots fade – don’t lose hope. Experts at The Aurora Zone think that instead of disappearing, the lights are set to become more localised – so you’ll have to choose your destination carefully, and head further north, to rural areas with low light pollution. Better yet, you’ve also got the perfect excuse to stay in a glass-roofed arctic igloo, geodesic dome or slick Scandi design cabin – all in the pursuit of maximising your chances of seeing the elusive aurora, of course. Here are#Teamcoco’s top places to sleep under the Northern Lights.

6. Manshausen Island, Norway

You’ll need to take 2 planes, a ferry and a small boat to reach this isolated private island owned by polar explorer Børge Ousland, set well above the Arctic Circle on Norway’s northern coast. But these design cabins more than warrant the trip, with floor-to-ceiling windows and Scandi-chic interiors that beg to be cosied up in while you watch the Northern Lights dance across the ocean.

7. Muotka Wilderness Lodge, Finland

You’ve probably seen those Insta-famous igloos at Kakslauttanen. But what they don’t tell you on the ‘gram, is that their lesser-known, and far less expensive next-door neighbour Muotka Wilderness Lodge, is actually a better option. Not only are the igloos much more spacious and even include your own sauna, but we loved the charming feel of this family-run hotel – from cosy communal spaces and family-style dining to sharing a drink with the staff after hours. They are also able to organise activities with the best local suppliers directly from the hotel.

View this post on Instagram

2018 is flying by, can’t believe this was a month ago! If you ever want to stay in an igloo in Finnish Lapland, the ones at Wilderness Hotel Muotka have huge windows for watching the snowfall and stargazing while you sleep – and you get your own private sauna! ?✨

Northern Europe often gives off the impression that it’s a remote quiet part of the world given its small populations and cold weather that sometimes could border on the extreme. The truth is, it’s a beautiful area that is rich in culture and history – a true gem of a travel that’s off the beaten path compared to usual European destinations like Rome, Paris, or London. If you’re itching for a different kind of European experience, consider going on northern Europe tours that will introduce you to another beautiful side to the continent. Here are 9 amazing reasons that will convince you to bite the bullet and start planning your Northern European getaway!

1. Visit the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde, Denmark. Satisfy your thirst for Viking knowledge by witnessing first hand five actual Viking ships that were discovered in the Roskilde Fjords found around the city.2. See the first ice hotel in the world in Kiruna, Sweden. Time your vacation around the winter Snow Festival to make the most of Sweden’s wintertime activities.3. Attend a festival in Tampere, Finland. This city located in between two lakes is popular for holding so many cultural festivals – from theater to film to music and nearly everything in between.4. Walk through the streets of Aalborg, Denmark. This Northern Europe harbor was very prominent during the Middle Ages. At present, it is home to half-timbered mansions along streets that are picturesque in the daytime and become party central at night.5. Take a dip in the Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik, Iceland. This nature reserve might not be European in the strictest sense, but it does have its connections to it through its Norse heritage. The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa where you can relax and get all warmed up amidst the coolness of the environment.6. Discover the richness of history in Vilnius, Lithuania. The capital city has ancient churches and the famous Old Town, which also happens to be a UNESCO World Heritage site.7. Take a tour of the Stifsgarden royal palace in Trondheim, Norway. This is quite possibly the largest wooden building in the entire Northern Europe, and is worth a visit for the socio-economic history of the Trondheim and the River Nidelva which flows through it.8. Soak up the fantastic scenery in Uppsala, Sweden. The city has a decidedly slower pace of life, which is the perfect complement to its amazing scenic areas and parks. Uppsala may be smaller than other Swedish cities, but it has a life worth witnessing all on its own!9. Stroll through the world’s best preserved medieval town in Tallinn, Estonia. On this side of the world lies the Old Town, a city that has never been raided or pillaged in all of its history. The result? A beautifully preserved town that you can explore to have the most genuine experience of what medieval life was like.

Clearly, there’s more about Northern Europe than meets the eye. If you are set on discovering more about such an amazing part of the world, read more about Northern Europe to have a better idea of what awaits you when you get there!

To some people, wine is nothing more than a drink that compliments the food. The truth is, wine is a lot more than that. Wine can bring out the best in food. There are other benefits that you could get from wine as long as you’re taking it in moderation. If you’ve gone on Niagara Falls Wine Tours, you know that wine is more than just a social drink. Here are some of the benefits you can get when you drink wine on a regular basis.

Good for Your Heart

If you’re looking to reduce the chances of a heart attack or cardiovascular diseases, a glass of wine every day can go a long way. Red wine, in particular, contains a powerful antioxidant known as resveratrol. This antioxidant has been shown to reduce fat accumulation in the arteries and also help in improving heart function. There have also been studies published in the Journal of Agricultural Food and Chemistry which found out that white wines have high levels of hydroxytyrosol and tyrosol which have similar benefits that are found in red wines.

Lung Function

Wine will not only help with your heart but also the lung function. There was a study that was conducted by the University of Buffalo which found out that people who drink wine regularly are likely to have better functioning lungs. The study involved 1500 participants who were African-Americans and Caucasians. The study found out that regular wine drinkers had high levels of antioxidants in the body which led to a better lung function.

Reduce the Risk of Cataracts

This eye disease can be a bit tricky to handle especially if it runs in the family. There is still good news even if the condition is hereditary. In a study that was conducted in Iceland in 2001which sought to establish the link between cataract development and alcohol use. The study found out that red wine had noticeable protective effects. Heavy drinkers and those who don’t drink were more at risk of developing eye disease. For a moderate wine drinker, the risks were far fewer compared to those who don’t drink at all.

Reducing Risk of Getting Cancer

It doesn’t matter if it ovarian, breast, colon, or prostate cancer, a glass of wine could go a long way in filling your body with cancer-fighting properties. According to Australian research, a glass of wine could reduce the chances of ovarian cancer by almost half.

There is also another study which found out that a daily dosage of resveratrol (two glasses of wine) could reduce bowel tumors by almost 50%. Even though excessive consumption of alcohol increases the risk of breast cancer, moderate consumption of wine has the reverse effect.

Improved Brain Function

Crossword puzzles and activities that engage the brain will help with Alzheimer’s and dementia. While you’re playing the games, make sure to pour a glass of wine. Wine will help in reducing the inflammation of blood vessels and will also get rid of clots in the brain. Clots and inflammation in the brain have been heavily linked with cognitive decline.

Strong Bones

Your bone structure will still be growing even when in your 20s. Milk shouldn’t be the only beverage to think about when you want strong bones. For women who are experiencing menopause, just two glasses of wine a day could significantly improve bone mass in the body. This is because alcohol is known to trigger the production of estrogen.

Reduce Risk of Diabetes

Wine, when taken in moderation, can help with the control of blood sugar in the body. There was a study that was conducted in the Netherlands which found out that moderate drinkers are 30% less likely to develop type 2 diabetes compared to those who don’t drink. A glass of wine a day never harmed anyone and there is no reason why you shouldn’t try it out given the health benefits you stand to get.

Healthy Skin

Skin cleansers and facials are not the only things that you need to maintain fair skin. Wine has antioxidants which will reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Wine has the potential of improving your overall appearance if it is taken in moderation.

Preventing Tooth Decay

You might be avoiding taking wine regularly in order to keep your teeth white. Studies have shown that red wine can improve oral health. It reduces the chances of tooth decay by killing the bacteria in the mouth.

Cruise ships just get better and better, and for some, being on the boat is the best part of a cruise holiday. With fantastic facilities on board, passengers can relax after a day of sightseeing and be taken care of in a luxurious setting. This is making them more adventurous in terms of cruise destinations – let’s not overlook the impact that visiting a new country can have.

Sea, sun and sand have long been a staple of cruising holidays, but retailers such as CruiseDeals.co.uk now offer trips to a host of amazing destinations for 2019. Here are some of the highlights:

Jordan

A country steeped in mystery and history, Jordan is becoming a bucket-list destination for many cruisers, especially those who want to fully immerse themselves in a different culture.

Cruises dock at Aqaba, offering quick-and-easy access to a host of archaeologically significant sights, as well as a museum, fort and always-fragrant market. For those who like to stay active, the snorkelling and diving opportunities here are spectacular, but a few hours of floating in the Dead Sea is just as fun. A truly unique combination of desert landscapes, bustling cities, ancient history and modern luxury make Jordan a once-in-a-lifetime holiday destination.

St Petersburg

Perhaps not the first destination people think of when planning their ultimate cruise, St Petersburg is something of an untapped gem found in the Baltic region.

Cosmopolitan and surprising, with some of the world’s most ornate architecture, the city takes you from one amazing building to another with an underlying sense of spirituality. There’s also a heady cultural scene, with world-famous ballet regularly performed and the Hermitage museum showcasing millions of works of art. You may not get to lounge on a beach here, but adding a few extra layers will definitely be worth it.

Cuba

If you’ve ever dreamed of visiting a multicultural country that seems to have been left untouched by globalisation, Cuba is the cruise destination for you. Thanks to a vivid atmosphere, natural delectation for excitement and some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes, it’s a country that satiates the desires of travellers.

Alongside colourful Havana, a capital city with a fresh and fun carefree spirit, there are numerous enticing beaches, as well as nature reserves and hikes to explore. From Mojito cocktails in the city to quiet lakes surrounded by trees, every experience you could ever dream of can be enjoyed here.

Malaysia

Imagine being able to visit a destination that encompasses multiple influences, a huge variety of cuisines and multiple landscapes to enjoy. Well, Malaysia boasts all of these and more thanks to being one of the 17 megadiverse countries in the world.

Asia has long been a cruise destination for discerning travellers, but Malaysia specifically is now enjoying a surge in popularity thanks to the sheer volume of things to see and do. With influences pouring in from China, Europe and India, food-and-drink options are just as diverse as the landscape itself, which lets you choose between ultra-modern cityscapes such as Kuala Lumpur and rural utopias.

Iceland

More and more people are waking up to the potential of holiday destinations that focus less on sweltering temperatures and sandy beaches and more on unique experiences. Iceland is fast becoming a country that many cruisers are keen to see and not just because they want to test their mettle and try some of the more unusual local foods.

Reykjavik is a terrifically cosmopolitan city, filled with art galleries, boutique shops and incredible eateries, but it’s also the thermal baths and opportunity to see the Northern Lights that keep people coming back for more.

Egypt

Hardly a new addition to holidaymakers’ lists, Egypt is an incredible destination that was not frequently reached by cruise ship – until now. The possibility has been in place for a while, but keen cruisers are now alert to what the voyage can offer them in terms of spectacular sightseeing.

Before reaching the famous home of the pyramids and deserts that are ideal for dune-buggy excursions, passengers can enjoy sailing leisurely through the Red Sea, Suez Canal and even along the Nile. Given the balmy temperatures in this part of the world, it’s a perfect choice for some winter sun, and you haven’t lived until you sample the food, much of which is suitable for vegetarians.

While warm and sunny destinations have been popular with cruisers for many years, it’s the time for cultural hotspots to rise up and enjoy a turn in the limelight. There’s never been a better time either, as cruise ships are so well equipped these days that even if a destination is lacking a certain something, you’ll be sure to find it on board.

Iceland is often passed through by those in transit to the USA or Canada due to its cheap route fares and proximity to the aforementioned lands. But how often is a stopover turned into a trip in itself? Laura Bartlett tells us about why Iceland has won her heart and how a recent trip there got her more than she bargained for…

If you didn’t have Iceland on your bucket list then stop what you are doing immediately, go and get a pen and write it in capital letters on the top of your list. It wasn’t until I was cruising on a snowmobile over a glacier in the midnight sun that I realised Iceland had creeped it’s way to the top of my bucket list. There is literally no other place on the planet that can give you what Iceland can, but now, thanks to Icelandair, you can get even more out of a trip to the land of fire and ice – like a whole other country added in to the mix without having to spend any more money!

Fly from London Heathrow to San Francisco with a pit stop in Iceland for up to 7 days, before travelling back home for under £500! THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I was lucky enough to fly premium on Icelandair’s inaugural flight from Iceland to San Francisco and what an adventure it was.

What I learnt from my few days in Iceland is that the Icelandic’s are great at absolutely everything! The way they dress is chic yet understated, the food they make could be mistaken for Michelin star when it’s just a local restaurant, and there is so much to do and see that I don’t know why people from Iceland don’t have more arrogance. But that’s not their vibe – their laid back, cool attitude is what will make you fall in love with Icelandic culture.

Arriving mid-week after the short three-hour flight from London, we went straight to dinner at Kopar Restaurant. The food was honestly worth shouting about – from the way they combined flavours and ingredients that you wouldn’t consider, to how the dishes were served as pieces of art on the plate, it was exemplary. What I loved most about this place was the fact that it’s owned by two ultimate girl-bosses! Between them, Asta and Ylfa are experts in food, wine and having a good time.

This was the perfect early dinner before we headed off on our first adventure with Mountaineers Iceland, who were taking us Snowmobiling on Langjökull. It was a bit of a trek to get there, but luckily we had a monster truck to get us through the ice as we sang along to The Piña Colada Song and laughed as the driver had to deflate the tyres to get through the ice safely. Arriving at our snowmobiles, we were kitted out in badass gear to protect us from the cold before getting a short lesson on how to drive them. Then, for the following couple of hours we wizzed over the glacier with the midnight sun beaming on our faces and views unlike anywhere else in the world. There were moments during this that felt surreal and caused moments of reflection, realising how lucky I was to experience something so magical! I could have happily gone home after this point and still been satisfied after such a once in a lifetime opportunity, but luckily I didn’t have to.

The following couple of days in Iceland were spent doing what you have to do when in town, including the obligatory visit to the Blue Lagoon. Be sure to get the VIP package that includes face masks and drinks once you’re in the lagoon – and I’d highly recommend taking a waterproof holder for your phone to make sure you don’t miss the ‘look at me’ shot right in the middle of the steaming water. The Lava restaurant here is also pretty impressive and the ‘Blue Lagoon’ cocktail is a must!

Iceland sits on the top of the Mid Atlantic Ridge. It’s in between the North American and the Eurasian tectonic plate which means that snorkelling here is unlike anywhere else in the world. I’m not the best swimmer but even I didn’t have to be exempt from this activity because, once you’re kitted out in the wet suit, dry suit and everything in between, all you have to do is get in the water and let the current take you around whilst the suit makes sure you stay afloat.

The list of things to do in Iceland is endless – it’s a place that has to be seen to believed and one that I can’t imagine anyone not falling in love with. It was also the perfect warm up, or cool down, before the final part of our journey to San Francisco.

America is my happy place so I already knew that San Francisco would be the place for me – maybe it was something to do with the fact that I ended up at an after party being kissed by a local tour guide after my fellow travellers played a funny trick on me, or it could have been down to the fact that I got to do so much whilst in town. Whatever it was, San Fran was the perfect addition to an already amazing trip.

From exploring Muir woods and drinking hot chocolate in the blistering heat, to hiking under the Golden Gate Bridge, cruising on the Hornblower Crusie for dinner, and dining at the Tonga Room where it rains inside and the cocktails will blow your head off, this multi-country trip was something else.

There is only one hotel that you need to know about when in San Fran, Hotel Zeppelin. Perfectly positioned in the heart of all the action, this is a chic boutique hotel with a rock n roll style and a hint of luxury. This is THE place to socialise as the lobby lounge welcomes you with its fireplace which crackles while streamlined sofas are plumped to perfection making you want to hang out with friends until the early hours.

The lead in flight price from London Heathrow to San Francisco is £447.80 per person return including all taxes, fees and charges (price is based on travelling in September 2018).

This latest collection is the latest in the Dr. Martens’ artist series launched in partnership with convention-breaking artists such as Basquiat and Keith Haring. It features three artworks painted on Dr. Martens’ Original silhouettes that were inspired by artists that defied convention. The collaboration infuses iconic DM’s silhouettes with art that broke the rules by artists who walked their own path. Aurum

Goldsmith and designer Guðbjörg once again turns to Iceland’s myths and legends as well as the country’s flora and fauna for the inspiration which shapes her unique designs. Her latest collection was inspired by Iðunn, who In Norse mythology was the goddess of spring, youth, and rejuvenation. The new IÐUNN collection represents both the goddess and spring and is our top choice for summer jewellery.

People Of All Nations

Cro-Che

Cro-Che is a forward thinking women’s label, based in London. Founder Tacita Brown, believed a fashion brand should begin with how the clothes are made, and the people who make them before anything else is considered. Cro-Che produces clothes which are hand made by extraordinarily talented female artisans in developing countries across the globe. It was important for Tacita that these skilled artisans did not have to leave their homes or their families and children to travel sometimes hundreds of miles to find work in factories based in the cities. Cro-Che aims to empower the incredibly skilled women by employing them to work from home. Conscious, slow and beautiful fashion? Now that’s the kind of brand we can get behind.

“Aurum by GUÐBJÖRG stands for Ambition, Understanding, Responsibility, Unity, and Mindfulness,” says Founder Guðbjörg Kristín Ingvarsdóttir on the values that define her Icelandic jewellery brand.

With its striking, sculptural jewellery pieces, Aurum breathes sustainability and takes inspiration from the ethereal beauty of Iceland’s natural landscapes. It is also the expression of Guðbjörg’s own passion, creativity and genuine commitment to the earth.

In this Women Worldwide interview, Team Coco sits down with Guðbjörg to talk about her love for jewellery, how Aurum is promoting environmental and ethical sustainability across all areas of its business, and how Aurum serves as a platform to showcase the beauty of Icelandic culture to the world.

“To be an innovator and a designer is to be constantly growing and learning and to be patient. It’s important to be passionate about the job, to be industrious, to successfully execute ideas, and to learn by doing. Work hard, make original work and be patient.”

Aurum by GUÐBJÖRG

Tell us a little bit about yourself and background. What made you fall in love with jewellery?

I finished my goldsmith and jewellery design education in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1996. Between 1996 to 1999, I opened a studio in Copenhagen and worked on my first 2 collections Isold and Heida. I moved back to Iceland in 1999 and launched Aurum the same year.

I fell in love with jewellery making after I spent a year in high school on Bainbridge Island in the US. I took a jewellery class at school, and I had a Norwegian teacher, who was an amazing woman who had a big influence on me. When I came back to Iceland after spending a year abroad, all I wanted to be was a goldsmith.

What does Aurum stand for? How does this philosophy inform the way you approach your business?

Aurum stands for Ambition, Understanding, Responsibility, Unity and Mindfulness. Aurum puts great emphasis on that ambition through our design, product development, quality, and customer care. We show that we understand the needs of our clients and customers with respect and empathy and that we are helpful and flexible.

We show responsibility across the business by developing a positive and respectable working environment that encourages collaboration and cooperation between employees. Aurum sources materials from certified fair-trade companies and provides environmentally friendly packaging for our clients and customers.

Aurum displays unity with our community by supporting charities with short and long-term projects, and then donating all profits from those projects to selected causes. Aurum is an equal-opportunity company and encourages a mindfulness and prejudice-free environment where everyone has a voice.

How important is sustainability to you and Aurum?

We want our customers to be confident that they are dealing with a company that continues to reduce its carbon footprint in all aspects of its production.

Sustainability is at the heart of our brand values. For example, we only use recycled gold and silver, which is something we have been doing for the past 16 years. We only use lab-grown diamonds offered by members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.

We also package our jewellery in sustainable mulberry tree paper, which is made without cutting down any trees; and finally, we offset our carbon emissions by planting trees, via our partnership with UK-based non-profit TreeSisters.

Being eco-friendly is but one aspect of our corporate social responsibility policies. We have permanent and campaign-based collaborations with several non-profit partners.

Where does the inspiration for your unique packaging come from?

Our very special packaging is modelled on Icelandic stones which I discovered on an Icelandic beach in West Iceland. They are made out of ‘Saa Oaoer’ or Mulberry Paper which is the best fibre of the Mulberry tree. Collecting the fibre doesn’t interfere with the ecosystem as not a single tree has to be cut down. Only the leaves are harvested while the tree continues growing.

How does your Icelandic heritage inform your design process?

The Icelandic energy provides me with endless creative ideas. To sense the beauty and experience all the beautiful forms and the quietness in the countryside. This is especially true when I visit my summerhouse in the western part of Iceland, which gives me a break from my busy life in the city and where my creative ideas start to flow.

From the comments that I get from my customers from all over the world, I can tell that my ideas resonate with them, and that they can sense the Icelandic nature and culture in my jewelry design and that is a good feeling. As one of my customers recently said about the jewellery:

“It truly is reminiscent of why we love Iceland, for its natural beauty.”

“It’s impossible not to think of Iceland every time you wear it.”

What have been the biggest challenges and milestones you’ve faced as an entrepreneur?

Covid-19 has been challenging but with the hard work and great support of our team, everything has been working smoothly. The challenge for Aurum is to keep up with the growth of the company. We have to be open to new opportunities and keep on developing The Aurum Brand and focus on our core values every day.

What’s next for you? Any new exciting projects in the pipeline?

We will continue to grow Aurum by Guðbjörg and focus on our online business.

Our new Basalt collection just came out last month and the next one is coming out very soon. I am very excited about the new collection, the design process takes such a long time so it is always a thrilling moment when I release them, I cannot wait!

I am also excited about the future as we have a lot of positive interest so now, we are carefully stepping into some new directions.

What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start their own jewellery brand?

To be an innovator and a designer is to be constantly growing and learning and to be patient. It’s important to be passionate about the job, to be industrious, to successfully execute ideas, and to learn by doing.

Work hard, make original work and be patient.
